My teacher (Mr. Kyle) ALWAYS puts this on whenever we start talking he says it's like a chat show. So he puts on his London accent Hello and welcome to This morning news where we'll be talking to Jamie Edgar about blowing spit bubbles everyone finds it hilarious and if u like this comment I will subscribe to your channel OH AND HI MR KYLE ☺
This video has been recorded using a loaf of bread which also had cataracts , even the sound quality is bad its ruined what coukd have been a great video
Its missing the titles from about 1999 which had the water as previously seen in the 1990s but with a skyline rather than water top to bottom and a more golden bold This of the logo.
It has been confirmed that Richard and Judy are going to host the 25th anniversary show in october and there is word that Phillip may be replaced later this year.
I don't know why the show ever drifted away from the style of the Richard and Judy era. Mid to late 90's were especially well honed. I remember a time when I'd have to walk back and forth though a town centre between college campus's several times each morning, and every single television in the many rental and electrical shops were invariably tuned in to it. There was no other choice, nothing could rival its popularity. Now, it's become just another option in a sea of such lifestyle shows. Still popular, but not the big hitter it became at one point.
Persinally I thought Fern and Phillip were much better than Richard & Judy as they were more easy going and much more pleasant to watch whereas R&J were very snarky know it all's who both wanted to be heard more than the next person, Richard especially.
The show made a near suicidal move when they reformatted with Twiggy and Coleen Nolan. I thought the John Leslie and Fern Britton era was tolerable, but it felt very battered by the madness that preceded it. I found the Phillip and Fern era a bit forced, once they worked out that giggling and innuendo got the show talked about. Even more so today. I suppose each to their own in terms of taste in presenters, but I feel that the show just felt very natural during the Richard & Judy years, whereas it's always felt somewhat forced, struggling, contrived ever since they left.
97channel I'll defiently agree with you there about Twiggy & Coleen. But I never even liked Loose Women to begin with haha. I'll also agree with you that Richard & Judy did have a decent knack for presenting This Morning, my problem with them was not so much at their presenting (as you and I both say they were very natural and milked it during their time) but the fact that they seemed to have too much of a high opinion on themselves which you could tell a majority of the time and they seemed (and still do somewhat) like the kind of people you don't want to talk to. Their C4 talk show revealed it in full
I sort of know what you mean about Richard & Judy, but I've always seen them as assured and confident of themselves rather than it being ego or anything negative. Always interesting to hear how others see things though. I've met them and I really found them to be very genuine and lovely. The only difference I noted from how they appear on TV is that Judy tends to appear as the outgoing and relaxed one, whilst Richard seems a tiny bit nervy and reserved underneath the chit chat.
THIS MORNING 1988 THIS MORNING 1989 | 1990 THIS MORNING 1994 | 1995 THIS MORNING 1995 | 1996 THIS MORNING 1997 | 2001 THIS MORNING 2005 | 2007 THIS MORNING 2007 | 2009 THIS MORNING 2009 | 2013
The saxophone theme was so good. I don’t watch this crap no more but liked it when I was younger
When I was a child and off from school, I would watch this show just for the intro....and then switch it off. No cartoons see.
Did the same in the 1980s. Would not do the same IF I am a child these days...
Evonne Okafor am 14 and still listen to the theme and change it over
Me too!
This morning has definitely changed over the years
This theme tune reminds me of my nan calling the school to tell them I was bunking off sick 😂
Much loved the themes with the saxophone in from the 1990s-2009 much better than todays titles also liked Richard & Judy been the presenters
feel nostalgic ...ol good days...
Fantastic video of the best tv show definately well changed over the years
Remember watching this at my dad's mother's back in the days rip nan
I like the older this morning titles. love the bass
The saxophone made it sound so good. Now it sounds awful
the composer of the original This Morning theme is David Pringle Gok Wan did the 2023 remix of the this morning theme.
Some of these themes take me back to being a kid lol
I call this programme "This Mourning"
OVER 25 YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG.
1990s version with the sax is the best
No, the best one is at 0:30.
Happy 34th anniversary this morning
Sounds quite similar to the GMTV theme tune as well
Saxophones and drums, classic 90s themes!
This is what I think of the titles when they were first seen in order
1988
1991
1994
1996
1999
2007
2009
2011
The first few remind me of the Knots Landing intro.
I watched this all without going mad
I prefer the one 30 seconds in. Reminds me of many mornings missing school. I'm 33 now.
The show was good when it was just Phil and Fern
Reminds me of being off school and at my Grandmas house. No talking was allowed while it was on.
I was born 1987 remember Richard and Judy I do

Agreed!!! That’s the one I remember the most!
@@JennyAmponsah the ones with the talk thing before it. They're the themes i remember even though i don't watch this morning
Loved richard&judy
i like this morning
We have a show like this in the US.... it was called Live with Regis and Kathie Lee... Two bimbos host it now :(
@@JackPed5225 Not anymore. Regis died a few months ago. It was kind of a nail in the coffin of that era of Rat Pack show business
1:12 best by far!
Like continues tape. Just goes round and round again.
Omg Richard with baby chloe sooo cute
1989 - First Time in Stereo
The second version is my favourite
Ravinder2220 Same here.
Gets annoying after a while but it is incredible to see the changes it has gone through
Remember Fred Talbot falling into the quayside lol!! When he was jumping from England to Northern Ireland on the weather map!!! Never laughed as much
Then he went to prison for a large number of sex attacks on teenage boys. Evil.
0:30 - 1:00 is the best one.
liked their vocies
1:01 is the best
kiandymundi brought me here
Why did I just watch this?
couldn't agree more haha! :)

Isn’t there one around 2003 that isn’t on here?
I prefer 1995 onwards - the saxophone era :)
What about that streaker who jumped on the weather map back in 1995. Do you think he will appear on the show for it's 25th anniversary?
Wasn't there a couple in between the 2001 ones and the ones at 3:02?
So am i the only one who likes it with filip and holly
Kgray 08 Phillip*
No I LOVE it with them but I also like it with Eamonn and Ruth
