Thanks for posting this I went there 30 years ago on a school trip and it brings back some wonderful memories. Even the hotel where we stopped is on the video. I would love to go back someday.
I would love to live there, it seems so quiet. Germany is an amazing place. I wonder if it would be difficult to leave the city life for something like Sankt Goar and get use to it? Nice video, great still photos. I've said it before Wedigo but I must have been a European in a past life because every time I see videos of Germany I feel so close to that country. thanks for sharing Wedigo and Ed.
Thanks Ivan. Well, Ed and I are definitely making plans to move to Berlin in May/June of 2019. We both love the small towns too, but we know each other too well....we need the excitement and variety of a large city and would soon grow bored with small towns (we consistently found that they really do turn the lights out at night and roll up the carpets at around 9pm, even on weekends, which surprised us....much toooooo quiet ..... LOL)
Oh Yes, Ed is determined we will go. I had some doubts, but he has talked me out of them (my German cousins are like "why would you want to live there when you have beautiful California...LOL). I hope to keep my You Tube channel, but may create an alternate one also to focus on European travels. We will only live in Berlin for about 6 months or so (during the summer), then moving further south for the winter. We don't plan to live permanently in Europe, it is only for about 2 - 4 years so we can travel more easily all over Europe...that is the main reason we will be doing this.
wonderful ....a lot of beauty scenary ...
Thank you !
