Great video showing this great collection, its a “cheap” (if u get with a discount) way to get a complete collection of sandman. So if you hate huge omni sized books and cant afford the incredible absolutes this is a great option
Yes! The suggested retail price is a lot but it’s honestly not a bad way to go if you get it at a discount. I was really impressed with the quality of the books.
I don’t have the shelf space for the absolutes and the omnibus editions are too cumbersome to read. I wish these were deluxe edition size but this looks like the best way to collect the series if you want manageable editions to read while also wanting a deluxe biding.

I had the trade paperbacks of the main series, when I was about the buy the side stories I decided to switch to the Omnis. I bought 2 and hopping to get the third by Christmas 😂 the absolutes are amazing, maybe one day I'll switch... The helmet box set is beautiful, but the standard size pulled me off. For a defenitive collection, they should have given us the best product possible, regardless the price. It's still a luxury item, so a few more bucks for a much better defenitive edition wouldn't be the end of the world. Do you agree?
I know the feeling. I would have loved for them to be deluxes, but the books are beautiful produced, and I think there’s something special to be had about reading the stories in the intended original size. That being said Overture hits different in the absolute. Something I’ll say tho, is my wife said she wanted to finally read it and she’s choosing to read these over the Omnis, or absolutes because the smaller size is attractive to her, and they seem more sturdy then the trade paperbacks.
When filming the video I felt super off and had to take way more breaks than I normally needed too. The next day I woke up super sick haha. So I edited as best and as fast as I could while my wife kept making me go back and lay down.
I can't find the exact content of this edition anywhere? Does it contain Midnight Theater? The Sandman Special 1? The short stories like Fear of Falling or the Last Sandman Stories?
@@LordDemonSamael if you can spring for the absolutes I say go for it. Or you could get the deluxe editions but I still recommend going absolute for Ovature as it has the best art. I have never been a giant fan of the eye on the Omnis. I think the absolutes or deluxe are easier to read and lay flat.

It has everything from the 5 sandman deluxes and the Overture deluxe. It doesn’t include anything else including the death stuff
