    I used the stock coil

I used it yesterday and got a Mercury dime on a very old beach

Did you take my advice and walk around the target you will get a lock on target s in a one way direction I am surprised I am the only one commenting

Yes, I always try to isolate a target to get the best response.

Sinceramente tenho um desse, mas não vi nada de melhoras, só cheio de barulho.

Try using lower Sensitivity & make sure you have a very good Ground Balance.

The biggest mistake of all youtubers making videos of their metal detectors' performance in target separation is running various nails+coin combinations in Air Tests! Unfortunately these youtubers don't understand that the Air Tests have nothing in common with what actually happens in the ground with different types and concentrations of ground minerals. Not to mention Halo effects of ferrous targets! If you do the same 2 nails + coin setup as in your air test but at a depth of 4-5 inches for the coin in the ground, even without the halo effect, you will not hear the coin. And if you set the 'dt' to 6, you will only hear a high tone response, even if you remove the coin. Never use the misleading Air Tests to display your detector capabilities!

You are correct in an "Air Test" not being the same as an in ground target. No matter what, the Ground sets the rules in real life detecting.
What I show on the unmasking portion is meant to be a visible example of typical 3D in ground targets. It is a learning tool. It is for showing the detectors behavior, not it's capabilities. I try to mention this each time but do not record from a script. There is nothing misleading if a viewer has anything more than basic experience or they have simply watched some of my other videos.
Not shown in any of my videos is a buried, 6" deep Copper Cent with 3 nails positioned "Monte Berry" style above it. All at different depths. It is not an easy set up. The Legend hits the coin better than most, and dt does help some. Not much, but it might be just enough extra in the field. The drawback to the dt feature is that it does distort the audio response at higher levels.
Personally, I see it most helpful working in mineralized soil.

@@chrisrogers7618can you tell me exactly what DT does to the Legend, if you put it up for example 4 5 6, do you need to go up with IFilter, and with stability? What about recovery? Keep it middle or lower or high, and sensitiviry also? Also your Discrimination is AM or GroundOff or Ferrooff. Thanks un advance i hope you answer

@@hardver8855 The dt adjustment is very similar to the Hot Rock adjustment on the Rutus Versa. The setting shifts the detector's internal Ground Phase scaling. This allows a good target that is masked by mineralization or fringe depth to respond with a positive Tone instead of the low Tone response of the Ground. In my mineralized red dirt, the difference between dt 0 & dt 1 is like night & day. Higher dt settings only seem to help a noticeable amount on the deepest targets. Higher levels will begin to distort the audio. I normally run it at 3-4. As far as the other settings, I keep IF very low and have no problem with digging unwanted iron. I never use BC or GS. Recovery is usually 3-5 depending on conditions. I will run Recovery at 2 in cleaner ground. Sensitivity is 22+ depending on EMI & ground response. Usually Disc G, but often Disc A. It all depends on the site conditions. The real keys are to set up stable using the available adjustments to match the conditions And go fairly slow & listen to what the machine is reporting.

@@chrisrogers7618 yeah, and then slowly up it up if you want but as long as your machine runs stable and clear.
