Hello, One of our Dräger C500 vents will not pass Pressure sensor calibration valve and Expiratory valve tests. We believe this problem developed from using some sticky nebulizer treatments on a sick patient. We've tried replacing the expiratory valve and flow sensor three different times with no luck. Do you have any advice on how to get it to pass? Thanks.

Hello! Could you please tell me how often this pre-use check should be done? Is it O.K. if its done every 10 or 20 days?

I do not know the number of days, but typically it is performed between every patient. Clean, please check, set up for use.

@@resptherapyedresources1997 i mean, is it acceptable if last pre-use testing done 12 days before and ventilator was unused after that & directly was connected to the patient? Shall we do pre-use check 1 more time just before connecting to the patient or its enough?

I am not aware of a time frame other than regular preventative maintenance that is based on usage and time between maintenance. For best information on specifics, consult Draeger customer service
