This is the live version, imagine how good the studio version is.. which is also live, but the studio is a controlled, comfortable, stressless environment for her, so it was just perfect.. I recommend you react to it too or at least watch it on your own time
Yeah, no worries, Fur Elise is a classical piece by Beethoven, she would have learned it in her piano training. I think she was 15 when she won the writing contest and signed when she was 17. But I could be wrong with those dates/ages. Great reaction!! ❤❤❤
Unfortunately, this is her weakest performance in this TV show. You can really tell she's tired, and so is her voice. Light years away from her true level, which proves that she's human after all.
Interestingly I like this version much more than the two versions on her channel, simply because it sounds more natural and it is a cool adaptation out of this classic piece. The studio versions (also the so called live version) are heavily produced and pitch tuned, so they sound too perfect, but also quite unnatural on the final high note. This here sounded much more like a good human singer. 🙂
@JohnnyByeYm Not 100% agree but I hear what you are saying. But the versions you're talking about aren't LOURDOUSLY produced, because at the end of the day she's the one who sings, and we know she's capable of singing with that quality that makes you think everything's arranged.
@@TheIviewclear I am not sure what "lourdously" actually means, but I generally prefer less heavy production than is normal in nowadays pop music. Faouzia has a unique style and vibe and she is capable of singing well for sure, which is why I like to hear *her* sing - ideally without too much overproduction, which can make things sound too clean, overly crisp and polished - and ultimately also a bit exchangeable. And we have enough exchangeable music already. 😗
@JohnnyByeYm I get it. But in this case she is really sick but contrary to the image she gives, she's still a competitor and didn't want to cancel her performance. I agree with you because I also prefer things that are stripped down, and so I prefer the STRIPPED versions. I don't like the Tears of Gold video at all, in which there's nothing exceptional compared with the DEEZER version.
It’s amazing but the live studio performance is just beyond. I look forward to see you reacting to it 🫶🏻
If you haven't already, you must react to its instrumental version, which is a vocal masterpiece!
I've been listening to this song for as long as I can remember as well as playing it on piano and marimba and never knew it had lyrics.
