You learn something everyday. I’ve never used the cope tool as I didn’t it was for. I always though revit could not make nice connections like this but it turns out that’s where the cope tool is for. If I had only known sooner, it would have saved me some time in some projects. Thanks.

Today is my first day of learning Revit after 7 years using ArchiCAD. This is the seond video that I came across and liked it; however, I'm a bit surprised at how primitive the workflow is (BA, not your fault obviously). How is it possible that a software like Revit (from autodesk) doesn't make those truss connection automatic? or at the very minimum doesn't have a tool or shortcut to join the truss parts all in one action? Please, tell me that things have been improved on newer versions.
I have same problem may be this in this video balken Used an old version of revit , because i watched him in the new video of making truss he can't do that like us with the new version of Revit. sorry for the bad English
Sorry I have tried loading a Warren truss and when I click it the whole thing is selected, a cannot select individual lengths to edit, not even if I use tab.
You shuld hold the cursor over the element you wont to select, and than hit the Tab key as many times as it takes for the element to be selected, sometimes its more than a couple times
Modifying a Revit Family Truss is hardly "How to Create a Truss in Revit" You didn't "Create" ANYTHING! you modified it to look better. I won't thumbs-down cause I'm not a douche and it is a good video despite its Title.
VLAD can draw Truss faster weeth Crayon....and looks much bey-tterrr. ANd not een annoying way (Cope thees, cope that, extend thees, cope thees, extend that, cope that....so much for doing things the easy, automated vayy. Eeesss how you Amerikan-ski say? "Work weeth the hard, not the smart."
