I truly miss artists like Stephen Simmons....He's a GALACTICALLY underrated talent that is WIDELY unknown here in "the states"....
Neo-soul artist in America like Eric Benet, Van Hunt, and others are similar to his style and talent level, but the masses here have sold-out to this cookie cutter pop culture, so great talent like this is largely overlooked.
For those of us who still love music with harmonies, instruments, and meaningful lyrics, we Enjoy these amazing talents even if they're not being trotted out for the superbowl halftime show (aka, another overblown, capitalist, orgy).
I've been a fan of his since 1999 when Philly stations consider him a "B side artist"....I guess they didn't get it either....
One of my favourite all time artists. A great talent who deserves to be better known around the world.
