Gerudo Valley has so much connotation to medieval Spain back when the origin of flamenco and the original Gerudo Valley song itself at it´s core and i´ts details is so influence by Flamenco that you can say that it´s in fact Flamenco. So just by that you can say that "Spanish Ganon" is less a joke and more a canon thing.
