His music and voice has matured in depth like a fine wine. My dad and brother got me into his stuff. I remember waiting for 3 balloons to drop and buying it after I got off work. It's nice that one of the things that takes me back a few years is still an ongoing thing. Big fan, hope a California tour comes along, I know at least a dozen people in my friends and family that would go
When I first started listening to Stephen Lynch over a decade ago, I'd cry from laughter, shock and awe. Nowadays when I listen to him, I cry from my old heart.
@@BM-is5ei same, probably cause I only recently (past 5 years) really found out about him. Listening to his older music kind of sticks you in the past.
I remember when i use to be able to cover his songs with my shitty voice, not anymore. Guess i'll do "Talk to me" for the rest of my life cause i sure as shit can't keep up with this.
Steve old boy The footage out there is enough to get you "canceled" 1000x over You can't save yourself, don't even try. Either retire or continue to be what people always loved you for.

I think his peak was Craig. 3 balloons was excellent, and I can appreciate the quality of the music here. He is just not really that funny any more. Craig was the best album. So hilarious.
Sorry but that’s not true. The Craig Machine was great and definitely of it’s time. Like any artist Stephen has to keep evolving and trying new things. Lion was a little too quiet, but The My Old Heart Album is fabulous.
@@TheWinstonSlip its just not funny. Nothing is really interesting any more. He lost his spark. Craig will probably never be beaten as far as comedy music goes.

That was awesome. Nice to see him still making music!
Stephens one of those guys if you want the best performance find live versions. He really shines when the pressure is on.
Oh my gosh, I love his music SO MUCH!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Huge fucking fan of this guy for years now. He truly is an inspiration and is an amazing artist.
I have loved this guy since the Craig machine. His voice has always been amazing. Seeing him live is the best
He's gotten even better as a songwriter and performer, more subtle but still hilarious 🤘
Wow. My dude is aging, seeing him like this with this song almost had me in tears
Holy shit he's 49? I thought he was much younger.

@@KrugerFS his old stuff is crazy wild but hearing his newer stuff i am amazed by his misicianship.
@@BM-is5ei His skill as a musician is just off the charts. Stephen Lynch is an amazing musician and song writer.
Me too.
that is a great song. beautiful and funny, I can't wait to get the chance to see it.
Shame on yourselves for not having his whole album live. Who ever missed that opportunity needs to find another job
This guy is the shit. Hope he continues making music til he’s old and gone. Always been an inspiration of mine.
Man he was on here. Plus that mic was money. Great performance!!!!
At first i was like " wow, a serious song!!" Then when he sang donate my jizz, i lost it!!🤣🤣🤣 came outta nowhere. I love it!!
Stephen lynch has always been about the music, way beyond comedy.
2:43 RIP my headphones
Damn man. The age for this man. His voice sounds the same. But he is still killin it.
He was so chuffed with his harmonica accompaniment
Legend

❤❤
My God this voice are you kidding me. Does the man age at all.
Pretty much incredible truth.
❤️
The beginning reminds me of Tennessee.
I love the first part of this song, and really wish we could get a sincere heartfelt album at least once by Stephen Lynch.
How is he *not* a superstar?
That second verse took a sudden turn
Yes, yes it did
Man he looks different now
He has a song that touches on that . Give Denial a listen.
Jesse Adams he’s older
He is pushing 50.
We all get old or die trying
Steve old boy

Vaughn from Slingblade!
Love the misdirection
Still so good. I’d like to see him come out with a rocker! It’s been awhile
Check out Denial on this same album
I always wondered what happened to this guy. I remember, back in the day, referring to Bo Burnham as a knock-off Stephen Lynch.
Has he had a bit of work? No wrinkles, brown hair etc
All i know is poor Rae Rae
He didnt peak when he shouldve. Before this PC bullshit

Mixer at delta chi is one of his best songs. Love that while album
