I love the "world's tiniest ponytail" 😁. It's a very long day on your feet - well done! Such beautiful scenery and definitely worth a few stops to smell the roses!
That’s a loooong walk but the blacksmith’s forge and wine fountain are highlights. Note to self: book Los Arcos. Thank you for all the wonderful photos.
What a pity that the culture of ‘booking ahead’ has become so popular. In my opinion, it has ruined the spirit of the Camino, which is always been about it being a pilgrimage where you rest your head when your legs can go no more. The private albergues need to follow the initiative of the parochial hostels, and refuse advance bookings and especially those who send their luggage ahead.
I’m afraid that the Camino is so busy in places that for those of us who are slower, have a disability etc, being part of a bed race is stressful and unmanageable. I am slow and have some specific difficulties and I would be last in every day and in some places bedless. Your spirit of the Camino would privilege the young, the very fit and the fast and toss others to the kerbside.

Thanks so much! 😊
