From the free Syrian people, I extend my sincere thanks to all the peoples of the West in particular,, who welcomed us with love and tolerance. We will never forget your kindness to us, and you are invited to visit beautiful Syria so that we can return your kindness. I hope that all Syrians will return to their country soon to contribute to building a free, loving, and civilized Syria as it has always been throughout its long history❤

      On May 12, 1996, on a 60 Minutes segment :
"We've heard that a half-a-milion children have died in [Iraq due to sanctions following the 1991 Gulf War]. And that's more children than that died in Hiroshima. And..and... you know...is the price worth it?"

Yes, Assad could only stay in power because of support from abroad, mainly from Russia and Iran. Had Ukraine with western support not managed to distract Russia, and had Israel not distracted Hezbollah and Hamas, which are two of Iran's proxies, then Assad wouldn't have been able to be toppled. It's so interesting how events can have such unforeseen consequences.
And the international community should draw the right consequences and stop working with Russia and Iran, until they stop doing what they're doing. Before Assad's fall, I saw a lot of people online praising Russia and Iran for being anti-west, but at least the west didn't directly support the Assad regime militarily.

Utter nonsense mister: What happened in 2012 is not what is given in the video. After a handful of students were expelled from an school in Darra, there was violence against government institutions. The local courthouse, the Ba‘ath party headquarters in the city, and the Syriatel building owned by Rami Makhlouf, a cousin of President Assad, were set on fire. On 25 April 2011, the Syrian military launched a large operation in Daraa in a crackdown on protesters.
The entire protest and violence in Daraa was orchestrated and planned by the CIA!
This was the beginning of the “Arab Spring” in Syria! It was inflated and later taken over by the Rebels (=ISIS). The Rebels were just another face of the ISIS that America itself created in Baghdad!

As Bashar al-Assad’s regime faces increasing scrutiny following the possibility of its collapse, reports are shedding light on the scale of atrocities committed during the Syrian Civil War.
Evidence of war crimes, including chemical weapon attacks, torture, and the targeting of civilians, is now emerging with greater prominence.
These revelations challenge the international community’s perception of Assad as a stabilizing force in the region.
If his regime falls, there could be a reckoning for those responsible for these human rights violations, possibly leading to trials and greater accountability for the suffering endured by Syrians throughout the conflict...

I left the comment about tyrants, Vučić in Serbia, Putin in Russia and Iranian women losing their freedom at some "60minutes" documentary, and they erased it immidiately. Then I left something about that on some CNN, NBC and other documentaries and news, when they showed how people have been tortured in Syria. Erased! What did they do for that people?! Nothing, just trying to get good interviews while the ex prisoners were trying to explain there is a massacre taking place in their homeland. But most of those media were interested only in exclusive news. Same thing about every country where human rights are endangered. They wait for a moment when everything ends, then they come to occupy your resources, and what is left of that poor country. Then they bring their pseudo democracy, like here in Bosnia, or any Ex Yugoslavia republic. They will never help Iranians or Afghanistans who fight for their freedom, too. For them, that is just about exclusive news. Iran, Russia, China...All were backing up Assad's regime. Not the ordinary people. Dictators from those countries did that of course 😐I am so sad about everything what is happening in this world at 21st century 😢
