Hello my beautiful friends! I want to take a moment to acknowledge what is going on in the world and quickly talk about the viral pandemic we are all dealing with. This channel will continue to post makeup videos and hopefully provide a few minutes of respite from the incredibly heavy topics of the moment. Please know that while Makeup Just For Fun carries on as usual online, myself (real life Amanda) and my family are taking this seriously. We have the supplies we need and we are able to work from home and keep our son out of school which gives us the ability to practice complete social distancing. Being able to prepare our home (NOT stockpile, just the things our family needs to survive at home) and work remotely is a huge privilege that I wholeheartedly acknowledge and I know not everyone has. Many are required to go to their workplace in order to earn the paycheck they need to survive, need to go out to receive medical treatments, etc. and I hope that all of you will be protected by the actions of the others around you. I know it is not feasible for everyone but PLEASE PLEASE stay home as much as you can. For the time being, please skip drinks with friends, skip the mall or playdate or restaurant outing. It is frustrating but all of us can truly make a difference by flattening the curve and protecting those most vulnerable. This will absolutely lessen the burden on our hospitals and it will absolutely save lives. We can't stop it but we can slow it down enough to help our fellow humans survive. Thank you fro this statement I feel a lot of people aren’t taking this seriously I’m 46 and have a heart condition currently wearing my 4th heart monitor and on serious heart meds which I’ve tried to stock up on and have asthma my husband is LAFD so he’s working and my son and daughters boyfriend both work for LA metro so there both working it’s very scary and I pray for everyone everyday we have enough stock at home for a short period not a million rolls of toilet paper I think it’s sick people buying and reselling stuff for a ridiculous amount taking advantage of this horrible virus! Anyways I love your videos and really want this collection makeup is my escape! Do you know what time this collection releases?😊❤️

As someone who loves glitter, I've been giving it up lately on my eyelids, it's not worth my eyes. It's not worth me going blind and I'm glad Colourpop is coming to this conclusion. I'm really into the Mulan palette
I had a Mulan themed birthday party when I turned 11 back in 1998. Good memories. I got Mulan beanie babies and two Mulan Barbies. And Christina Aguilera’s song in the movie was everything. ❤️💮

Oh my goodness, the lipstick really get my attention. As a Chinese, I'm really into the packaging (not because they're red lol), I think colourpop did very good job here with these details such as mulan's motto is on the package. I will get them! Impressive!
Yes, I’d love to see looks from this palette!! I think it’s beautiful and I LOVE the look of those super glittery shades! I love glitter and sparkle, but I also want to keep my eyes safe, so I’d love it if Colourpop switched over to this formula over the previous pressed glitters. If I may, can you try to use the glittery red shade in one of your upcoming looks?? I’m really drawn to it! Thank you! I also wish Colourpop would do a Live Action Cinderella collection! I know it’s old and Mac did something but Cinderella is having a big anniversary and the Mac collection looked nice but didn’t perform very well! I just want beautiful packaging and amazing quality and price 😍
HONESTLY the best Packaging for a Disney collab I have seen. It is absolutely gorgeous and sophisticated. I just want the palette and the lipstick but the PR box makes me just want to buy the whole collection for the BOX! Wow!
I actually use the pressed glitters, but I LOVE those "foiled" shades in this palette. I would love for them to make singles with that formula, or a palette of a whole bunch. They're so pretty.
This might be the first (and probably last) PR box I ever buy. As a youngish Chinese girl who grew up with Mulan... this is perfection. Gorgeous perfection that keeps in mind both Mulan's story and Chinese culture. Hats off to you, Colourpop!
These colours look soooo great on you! The palette is beautiful, I have all the shades. Another one I am tempted to buy because if the packaging. Might pick up the lightest blush though.
Y o u look absolutely STUNNING when you do try cooler tones, Amanda! I think they play upon your warmer coloring, which ends up heightening the contrast...

the palette reminds me a lot of the tati textured neutrals palette. but, the color scheme fits Mulan so I can see why that array of colors were chosen.

I actually love the palette colors. I wear a lot of neutrals and especially cool tones. This palette is one I would purchase. Great review and comparisons chosen. I have enough duochrome and colors I could mix with this to make hundreds of looks.
I really like this palette. I like the cool toned mattes, I love metallic reds, I think those neutral shimmers look quite unique. I can see myself using this palette a lot and I think I'm gonna grab it.

As this palette has so many neutrals and in any case I am planning on buying The Disney Palette vault I will get the Goodluck Charm Blush, the lux bullet lipstick and lux gloss as they are my type stuff and Mulan is my most watched Disney movie

I’m glad you did the comparisons, it really helps. I’m a huge fan of Mulan, so this collection is right up my alley . I don’t think I’ll get the eyeshadow palette but I am interested in getting the creme lipstick and the lip gloss, maybe the matchmaker blush. I definitely love the packaging for this collection and I think they nailed it with the color story.
I wasn't really interested in this collection until I saw your video. I really thought there were like 5 pressed glitters in there, and I was like if anyone will know it'll be Amanda! It released 4 hours ago but I was still able to get the palette, Matchmaker blush, lipstick and lip gloss, which is all that I wanted. I haven't ordered from ColourPop since November, there just hasn't been anything that caught my attention. And I think their constant releases were exhausting to keep up with, I'm sure you understand since you make videos about all or most of them lol. Thank you for all of the comparisons too! Even though I have a lot of those palettes, I still liked this one, it was probably the packaging that won me over if I'm being honest.
I’m not letting myself get dragged into it just for the packaging, gives me 3503 pallet vibes by morphe which I own and I have similar neutral shades. Already waiting for the sailor moon restock and I’m sticking to it! Great video as always! 💕

Nice review! After seeing the swatches it does look nicer than I thought it would but I wish they would have done a 9 pan palette instead of the large palette. For some reason I find their small palettes to just be more inspiring + less repetitive shades. The packaging is beautiful though.
That palette is so pretty!! I kinda want some ideas of what to do with pressed glitters other than eyes. I use the NYX glitters on my eyes before but idk I might try using glitters in the crease or for holiday looks around the eyes instead. I love the red tones in this palette though!

As recently as last year I had no hesitation about using chunky glitter near my eyes but now I've thrown out all my Glitterally Obsessed (except the Elsa one because the jar is SO DANG CUTE) and I'm careful to avoid pressed glitters in palettes.
I adore this collection and would be purchasing but I just bought the entire Mauve Collection so have to hold off on this now. I will be purchasing later on however cause it's stunning! ❤

Thank you for uploading! I will be picking up the skincare collection for sure, other items are TBD for now. On the one hand, I definitely have neutral colors like this somewhere in my makeup collection so it's not like I NEED this. On the other hand - Disney and Mulan! Every time I skip on a Colourpop Disney collab I regret it and end up buying the missing items later for a higher price separately. As such I might just save myself the agony and FOMO and get the PR bundle.

For whatever reason, that lip mask is soooo tempting to me. Packaging overall is gorgeous, but I doubt I’ll pick anything up.
