WOW! I am absolutely speechless. This is a phenomenal recreation. The break up gave me intense chills, especially when the stern slammed back into the water. Amazing job!
the onlything gave away as a miniature was the water splash... i just saw couple of your videos... loved it... guys just mix a little bit of vfx with your practicals... perfect way to make it look real... keep it up guys 🙂
@muhammetaydogdu7062 Wtf? If you're this impatient, then please proceed to make your own in a faster way. If you can't, then shut the f*** up and wait.
How fast the model snapped during the making got me dying 😂. Makes me wonder how it would have been if it snapped fast like that 110 years ago. They wouldn’t have time launch the escape boats.
thanks dude but….. I have recently download it now that means I can watch it forever and ever without stopping. Will I be able to see any different videos again??
@@MiniaturesFX oui c'est mon préféré et mon deuxième pref est Stephen King ! Haha mais je suis une fan fini de Titanic ! J'avais recréé le film quasiment au complet en sims 3! XD
What mainly gives away the trick is the water splashing. That's because fluids have some of their properties constant and they don't scale up or down together with your model size.
Nicely done! Of course, there are always some things that could improve, but you weren't trying to add in everything. Focusing on just the boat itself you nailed it.👌 You should add effects to it later. Unless this is the the way you want to keep it. Although if you did add some people, debris, fire, smoke, light flicker, ice chunks, sparks, 😞 sorry I always love how shots come together. Well you get it, amazing work.

Now i have a challenge for you...do the Fuel air tanker explosion form Air Force One, it was all miniatures for that production which is why it looks so dam realistic! Good luck :D
could a small layer of soap in the water add some foaming effect (just a thought) to it? To make it more convincing when the stern bounces on the water
This just goes to show how good models used in films are, especially when done right. I'm so tired of CGI, it should only be used for details, not the whole spectacle.

Um actually, by the time the ship had snapped in half all the lifeboats would be floating in the water 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

I'm all for compliments and praising his work, but it's absolutely and in no way better than the original. Stay realistic.
All things considered pretty impressive for such a small model

Ok this is very real the model is fantastic, ik there are no humans on board (that would be hard to do) but still cool
Yes, add humans on board is the next CGI level.. but why not in a next video !
In my opinion I can still tell it’s a mini version. But great job man 👍

Wow. All the money the studio could've saved if they just hired this guy.
Do you mean when they filmed sinking for movie Titanic. Do you know that they used model for sinking scenes ?

Not being rude but the james Cameron looks more real a little
Whaaaaaaat it's almost like James Cameron had a 200 million dollar budget that he was able to spend on models the size of freakin' houses.

Titanic would split at 23 to 30 degree angle under all the stress
But the Titanic 1997 movie split at a 45 to 50 degree angle

Keren sampean lek. ,👍👍
this is great!
Looks great! But at 0:19, the fourth funnel falls, then at 0:31, it’s not. Then two seconds later, it’s immediately falling again…
Yes, we shot about twenty takes with only one camera, it was not easy to have the same funnels fall.
Apparently the break of the ship didn't actually happen above water but once the ship was much closer to the sea floor
Where did you read that ?
0:15 who the hell be keeping a random deck bench in their cabin 😂
😂😂
My complaint with it is that the funnels fell in the same direction
it took me a while to notice the diffrence form the real one to this one
I don't ask for that much 😜

So cool, right?
El Titanic rompiéndose por el peso de los motores, detrás de la chimenea 3 .
Jack Thayer dijo que el barco se partió después de se apagaron las luces.
could a small layer of soap in the water add some foaming effect (just a thought) to it? To make it more convincing when the stern bounces on the water
For sure !
Make remake movies with the maniatare models and release it to the cinemas world wide
Two things gave it away the splash and water not moving like the ocean moves.
They had a large model of the ship breaking up. It was life size but just the stern.
The model of the stern that Cameron used for these footage was at 1:8 scale.
This just goes to show how good models used in films are, especially when done right. I'm so tired of CGI, it should only be used for details, not the whole spectacle.

it was necessary to put weight into the pipes or it was harder to use

if only I could actually do this to my titanic
What model do you have ?
@@MiniaturesFX And there’s one mistake… the middle propeller it has 3 blades not 4 hope you fix this if y do a remaster

Ah yes the 1960's titanic that's pretty much nothing but forgotten memories. If it wasn't fkr that ice burg. The titanic
Wdym
No That’s 1997
This is just correct to put on the titanic movie
Question....what happens if you do this ship effect in some kind of light clear OIL??? slowing down the waters speed/movement etc?
Yep it could be better but that would have created other difficulties during filming
❤❤❤❤❤❤
It would be cool to see this filmed with periprobe lens
Good idea !
I feel bad for her she is such a beautiful ship to sank

Should've removed the water droplets.
How thick the walls were gave it away.

can u make a playlist? i want to see how its like with the videos together same with the result
the angle was maximum 20 degrees
Not in the Cameron’s movie ;)
Can you make the 2012 theory with the 1997 ambience?
I count at least 9 continuity errors in your version.
They are all about the funnels.
Dude it's not that deep
Water droplet looks bigger than the ship in 1/200 scale..😅😅
only if the 4th funnel fell forward
When I saw the break first I tought you're showing the movie ._.

Water and size of the bubbles makes it look fake

Is this how James Cameron did the movie?
Almost, he used little bit bigger miniatures ;)
@@MiniaturesFX yea you’re right
What do you mean it's too high it's littering the same position
now composite the people in (cgi, real footage etc..) and it will become hard to differentiate from the original effect shoot

I noticed that the water droplets are way too big to fit in
Yes…
0:20 break and fake smoke pipe break down 0:31 to 0:33 fake soke pipe didnt break down 0:35 fake smoke pipe falls in to the water
How can you add screaming effects if there is no people that doesn’t make sense
As it returned back into the ocean.. it would never return idk
