Don't say pilot shortage😂 It's kinda Funny words to hear. There is a Shortage of Experienced pilots Not for First Officers and there Are thousands of Commerical pilot licence (Cpl) holders are jobless waiting for their Trun to enter Cockpit 🙌

It’s sad to see this. Akasa is a really good Airline. I truly hope they can turnaround and jump back in to the business.

Hello Sir, A few months back China manufactured its 1st Aircraft, this could be a game changer for the aviation industry, especially for India, 80% of the flights that Indian companies leased were from Western countries, and China is manufacturing Low-cost Aircraft.

Just my observation, no body would be interested to lease a aircraft which has not even completed 10000 hrs flight time. Not an easy task to buy from an unknown seller with limited domain information and history

I don't think any airline company in India would play the gamble of buying Chinese aircrafts - given the hostile relations between the two countries. Telecom companies learnt it the hard way when they had to replace their Chinese gears in a very short notice!

Hi Pavan , thanks a lot for these insights as always. Was just wondering, as far as I am aware, low cost airlines generally do not buy airplanes, they lease them. So aren't the capital costs lower here? Am I missing something?

Even the leasing prices were higher, most of the companies in India lease aircraft from Western countries where they charges forr leasing is too high.

Or is Akasa Air creating this bogey of pilots just like Go-First's about engine supplier. Incompetent managements blaming this and that and that...

First pls stop making susch video without doing through research. As serving in service industry name one good company which follows all regulatory requirements in India. More than 60% pilots fly more than required hours, maintainance shortcuts due to financial trouble, company top priority is investors regulatory they grease, Management enjoys all perks of industry but they feel pinch to pay overtime.......ask any airlines staff

Don’t hire domestic pilots just hire pilots from US and Europe.
