The year was 2001, I was 15. I remember just cruising around the streets of the deserted small town that I grew up in by myself. I was in my old truck, it was always late on the weekends & I'd just listen to this album. So peaceful.
So many memories good god . I love this song . And here I am revisiting this wwitj another woman decades later . “I hope you never love again “ hits hard
This was always one of my favorites by them. Its been close to 18 years now that I've been a fan. I had the honor of meeting scooter before he went on stage. I was that young 15 yr old that fainted at the show actually and got back stage thanks to it. I guess it was well worth it. Lol. But it's this era of music that I always loved most.
Niiice, That's awesome that u met Scooter that long ago. I bet he was an awesome guy. I started listening around 1999 or 2000 so around same time frame.....miss his/ their old sound and I will just leave it at that...
@@rainbowbright2613it was around then. Maybe 2001? I was a teenager and am now going on 33.. it's crazy to think, and well said. And that's all she wrote-
as a cold fan.this song is one the best of so many great songs they made. it speaks to me of someone i care for deeply.,, just cant let go of them of a past friendship that should of just stay like it was,
To me this song projects the sadness of being so close to someone and haveing the burning desire to have every inch of them yet the walls between us create a impossible barrier to me it, it helps the pain knowing I can't or definitely shouldn't have the person I want so badly.....what's so wrong feels so right.
The memories....I remember I went and saw cold with Staind and limp Bizkit in 1998 in Louisville, KY and cold fuckin blew my mind....his voice is so unique... This song and "insane" are incredible!
awesome vid, thanks.. i remember listeing to this stuff yeaars ago.. this really takes me back. this is a band that among all the other old bands i used to listen to, this one got away from me somehow. its amazing how you can not hear something for so long, almost a decade, and still remember every lyric like you've just heard it yesterday.. it doesn't work that way with every band though :) love this shit!! dont know why it just popped into my head tonight
Andrew Forrest when you move away from certain personnel, you will automatically move away from their sound. Kelly's guitar effects pedalboard defines the color of this album.
I feel this song so much and think I should've stripped (another) her down too looking back, but real love makes you blind and after 10 years with someone you think you can trust them forever.
I guess I remember associating Scoot with the dude from The Basket ball diaries, plus I gotta check out Tampa bay, I thought they traded evan longoria, If not, awesome, hes' awesome.
Vimeo rocks some PLAYBOY, and thats good news. Cold could get some videos uploaded onto Vimeo if they wanted to Be EXPRESSIVE, experimentally, I think Local h should too too.
@stripherdown1 fa real main, I listened to their music religiously as a young teenager (which is probably why I had such low self esteem haha) and I still derive those same profoundly cathartic feelings from it I did back then. If only they were releasing this shit NOW. "Insane" is possibly the greatest song ever made.
ThatsFuckingIntense it's the other way around fam. You didn't get low self esteem from listening to depressing music. Depressing music resonated with you because you had low self-esteem :)
too bad...totally since their music is still so awesome and it appears that there isn't the level of reality and age appropriateness happening or something, but anyhow, that chick from Eminems album sayin JUSTIN...and so on...well they say the same thing about HIM also....
Great song ive been a fan for over 12 years but whoever did the volume levels ruined this song. It goes from poetic to destroy soneones speakers. Half the best cold song ever to the worst ever.
Absolutely love this song....January 2024....have listened to it for sum 20yrs.

This is Cold's best song....too bad they moved away from the sound of their first 2 cd's

Actually it's based on actual realistic reality. Also "age appropriateness" I think you mean they got too mature for your 13 yr old mind.
Shoot, I just saw that lame :/ I'll redo it really soon
