Potency 124 and 114.
This is the ONLY guide that works well only follow this one who ever is trying to get through tier 2. Every other video guide is wrong and you will waste tickets. FOLLOW THIS ONE!!!!!
I second this. I nodded the minimum that was suggested. I went 3 for 5. The 2 losses was because I didn't listen and healed and used aoe. Thanks for saving me tons of times. Just basic baby
Thanks a lot man, your strategy works! My Han had just 216 speed and it was sufficient. Just a small detail, the phase you show is phase 2. You have first to pass phase 1 and be prepared for phase 2. The first battle I tried I used C3PO and ROLO specials extensively including at the end of phase 1 so I lost phase 2 because I couldn't use specials. For the second battle I spared the specials and used only basics, then I entered phase 2 without any protection left, so I lost. So you have to balance carefully phase 1, use specials at the beginning of the battle to weaken the troopers so that you don't get too much damage, and finish the battle with basics so that you are out of cooldown. Then it worked like a charm for my 3rd and 4th battles. Probably obvious, but better when stated.

I finally beat it. I used your video about 4 months ago and still couldn’t do it. Last time speed wasn’t quite up there. This time I listened to everything, and increased the speed on a few mods. Knocked out all 3. The first go around, I lost, the second I won, the third I lost again, then the last two I won. Good enough! 😂
Thanks for this! Doubt I'd still be playing this game without help like this. Gotta love when CG adds these battles that can really just boil down to RNG, and then make you have to finish them multiple times. Not like CG has ulterior motives and wants you to fail often, or anything...
That's the thing for me - the tenacity guidance in other videos makes no sense. Great, you maybe resist a few DoTs, but you can't damage Vader. Eventually, he's going to land some and start healing through the little damage you can put out. What's the endgame? Just get very very lucky? Thank god I found this video.

This is the first video of yours that I’ve come across.. but damn I’m I glad it popped up. Was certain this was going to be terrible watching other guides but after seeing how your clips made it look so easy I jumped right in! CHan 282 Speed 136% Potency ROLO 281 Speed 123% Potency Vader died so fast! I never lost a single character!! I feel bad for all the people I saw in other videos applying zetas & having less than 50% win rates. I’ve got 178 Zetas (all my opponents in Kyber 2 have atleast 100 more than me)& can’t afford to waste them

Thank you very much for this guide. The mod targets and strategy were a huge help. I'd failed my first two tries, so banked tickets to do major mod work and try to complete it in one go (because remodding is the worst). Was able to go 3/3. The first fight was a little hairy when Leia went down and Han was Ability Blocked, but I still managed to salvage it. Exposes were certainly the key. So thanks for making this absolutely miserable tier manageable. Still stressful as hell going through it, but it's finally over. And boy, tier 3 is a cakewalk afterwards.
Must be a very fine line with these damn mods. Mine are close to these, superior in some respects, and yet I am now 3/3 fails. rNG was appalling on the last go, took out Han with second shot and 3-po has been going down way too easily every damn time.

Absolutely amazing. I was pretty afraid, cause everybody has bee saying that, even with the mods, it was a rng-s*it show. I got 3, didn't even break a sweat. ANd I wasn't even able to get that speed high.

Possibly because I mostly had level-A and B mods with ROLO at 206 speed and Han at 191 speed, my first two attempts were really close, but didn't quite get Vader down. I re-watched the video and tried again and got the rng for 3 wins in a row. ROLO with 125% potency and Han with 133%. Thanks.

Missing ability block 6 times in a row with 130% potency is such a pisstake. Hate this stage, but slightly less than when I did it on my alt and all the advice was "use tenacity!". Thanks for the video, took 4 battles to get the 3 wins.
This worked for me, but holy fuck what a nerve-wracking fight. I dropped a battle, because Vader resisted the block, turn 1 Merciless, AoE, empowered Culling Blade on Han, and rip

First 2 battles went down easy. In the third battle Vader took out ROLO and there was no coming back even after revive. Battle number 4 was even worse. Gotta collect some tickets now. I was hoping to get it over with in one sitting. With the last two failed attempts I am a bit discouraged. Updated: three LS refreshes later I had another tickets and got the last 20 shards from that tier. Now I have to move those mods back.
Yo I already beat it following the guides recommending tenacity, but those battles were so sketchy and i did indeed waste tickets. I wish I saw this video first. THIS IS THE WAY
Folks recommend xaereth's video, I went with the short video and chose to use your video. Went 3 for 3. On my second and third run I put health on ROLO before going into phase 2 and used ROLO aoe at the start of Phase 2 battle then used basics. On the second run. I must have got lucky with the aoe, because it softened up DV and took away all of his protect, but in third run it did nothing. Thanks for the video.

Maybe you have some additional advice, i have lost 4x so far following this strat and i am hitting the mod requirements. Han gets yeeted every time because he's loaded with dots...i have a crit avoid arrow on there... is it just the worst luck of all time?
Darn, that is some very frustrating bad luck. Working under the assumptions that both ROLO and cHan both have 6-dot crit avoidance arrows and match the other stats I used, you're not continuously using ROLO's aoe, and you're not using cHan's heal to cleanse dots, I'm really not sure. I'm not sure if there's something picky with like your health and protection numbers that would cause the AI to prioritize cHan more than someone else, it's really hard to say. If you ever want to stream a run, feel free to join my Discord server and I can try to help in voice. You can also try to do what others have done which is focus on tenacity over potency, I personally do not like that because I didn't my toons resisting any more debuffs than if they had minimal tenacity, with the bonus side effect of hardly ever landing exposes.
I'll hit you up on disc when I scrape together more tickets and I can show u the modding and stream the run, maybe it will help add some tweaks to the vid in case there are some weird health and prot balances that make vader more of a dick to Han
1/3 following this strategy, had crit avoid arrows and met the mods you suggested and speed/potency targets. Han seems to be only left and permanently ability blocked.
update. i finally got a CA pot arrow with enough speed and okay 2nds. made it gold 6*. This changed everything i didnt even need a 2nd one for leia. not losing han was huge. i swear vadar would go for him every time. i dropped a half dozen tries easy before just the 1 CA arrow. it took a long time to find one that was good enough. i did a lot of 15 crystal refreshes in the store and finally got lucky. then dumped a lot of sauces into it to max it out. ill probably never use it again but it got me past it with ease.

Same here... healed ROLO before going into phase 2 and used her AOE on the second day run. It softened up DV, but the third time, nothing.

2/12, I come back half dead from the previous fight and then Vader has an easy time. 3 moves, mostly c3po and han, are specifically eliminated by him.
I can,t get this to work. Vader out heals any damage I do. I wasted all my light side currency I had saved and my weekly shipment for the week :(

Maybe you have some additional advice, i have lost 4x so far following this strat and i am hitting the mod requirements. Han gets yeeted every time because he's loaded with dots...i have a crit avoid arrow on there... is it just the worst luck of all time?
Darn, that is some very frustrating bad luck. Working under the assumptions that both ROLO and cHan both have 6-dot crit avoidance arrows and match the other stats I used, you're not continuously using ROLO's aoe, and you're not using cHan's heal to cleanse dots, I'm really not sure. I'm not sure if there's something picky with like your health and protection numbers that would cause the AI to prioritize cHan more than someone else, it's really hard to say. If you ever want to stream a run, feel free to join my Discord server and I can try to help in voice. You can also try to do what others have done which is focus on tenacity over potency, I personally do not like that because I didn't my toons resisting any more debuffs than if they had minimal tenacity, with the bonus side effect of hardly ever landing exposes.
I'll hit you up on disc when I scrape together more tickets and I can show u the modding and stream the run, maybe it will help add some tweaks to the vid in case there are some weird health and prot balances that make vader more of a dick to Han
Yeah. Unfortunately this strat has done nothing for me. 0/3 so far and all stats match. 6 dot CA. Han always gets wiped right away by Vader
1/3 following this strategy, had crit avoid arrows and met the mods you suggested and speed/potency targets. Han seems to be only left and permanently ability blocked.

Yes, it’s pretty crucial, otherwise your characters will die too easily
yeah same now i have to spend the next few months trying to farm a CA arrow for this one mission. love CG
update. i finally got a CA pot arrow with enough speed and okay 2nds. made it gold 6*. This changed everything i didnt even need a 2nd one for leia. not losing han was huge. i swear vadar would go for him every time. i dropped a half dozen tries easy before just the 1 CA arrow. it took a long time to find one that was good enough. i did a lot of 15 crystal refreshes in the store and finally got lucky. then dumped a lot of sauces into it to max it out. ill probably never use it again but it got me past it with ease.

I failed 4 times with the high tenacity builds. Switched to this method and two straight wins. 👍🏻
