Hey Myth, I'm also going short swords and if you want some cool options.. If you run down past the guy you gave the Book of Sin to, lamp through the gate and run down the stairs, transition to Umbral and head across the spine bridge. At either end will spawn a reaper, they are difficult to deal with starting out but they can drop their sword, which is pure agility scaling and also inflicts Wither build up. You already have the Perdam Falchion, another great choice. The other is given by the woman turned to stone in the swamp, Kukajin. Now I messed up with her, I may have thrown a grenade and killed her while she was still in stone form as I was trying out different things trying to free her :') but she dropped her sword, which is crazy good so try and do her questline if you're committing to the build, it has strength and agility scaling. I have used the Stillness Sword and Kukajin's Blade the whole game, (Perdam Falchion will be a nice replacement) and I'm pretty far in. Once you get upgrades on them and using a really nice combo I found which involves using Poison buffs (or any Poison damage really) + the Bloodbane Ring (which lets you inflict bleed build up as you inflict Poison build up, found also in Forsaken Fen but I don't remember where, sorry!) The ring also works beautifully with the Poison Javelin and Forsaken Grenade, trust me. Loving the series, any MythSouls content is best content.

My buddy and I have a theory that the Wanderer(guy with skeleton hand) is the original Lords of the Fallen character and he refers to the last game where the “true ending” is very bad and would be considered a mistake. Which we think is what he references when you spoke to him in the swamp. No idea if devs have confirmed or talked about him but that something we came up with after talking to him in the swamp👌🏼

when i saw the trailers for this game, the whole umbral realm seemed like a really cool mechanic but also made me concerned it would make the game too complex, however, after watching you play for a few episodes, i actually think it works really well and adds an entirely unique level of depth, exploration and puzzle solving in the game without it suffering for being too over the top. really well done by them, at least so far lol
