Look at Kokomi's Constellation and weapon, then remember Yoimiya. Mihoyo is holding back atk spd artifacts and Electro rework intentionaly so Raiden, Hu Tao and Ganyu generate profit. Once reruns are over they will announce atk spd artifacts and Electro rework, just in time for Yae Miko.

@@mikotokayano009 the crit rate is obv a big prob because that makes her do only the healing thing, it completely rules out the damage part. And the thing is, she's not even that good of a healer, Barbara can do the same amount of heals and she's a 4 star. Qiqi and Jean can do do too and both of them are standard banner characters, plus Jean offers a lot to the table with damage. Qiqi is still somewhat considered bad because she only offers heals and so does kokomi but qiqi is still better than kokomi on the bases of heals...

Too late, C6 R5 and waiting for Mihoyo to ad atk spd artifacts into the game. Genshin Impct community can't recognize a meta shift coming from a mile away. Just one look at Kokomi and Yoimiya's kit reveals atk spd is coming out soon, and both favoring Electro reactions yet cannot use the reactions as effectively means Electro rework is coming. This is a classic "built different" situation.
Mihoyo: "Don't pay attention to these weak characters, focus on the booba sword and the Hu Tao Ganyu reruns and make us lots of money."
Then they shift the meta the moment the rerun banner is over.

I would like to add here that while this is sad, my f2p friend tried pulling on her banner for Rosaria and after 70 pulls got no rosaria and a Kokomi. Twenty pulls later, still no Rosaria and a C1 Kokomi. He confirms that he did not want her at all. Good luck guys

Lost my 50/50 on 75 pulls. Probably means that I have doubts in her so I played her story quest and immediately think that, I shouldn't give up and pray to her excellency by sitting in her retreat cave. Immediately got her and one 4 stars in 10 pulls.

Even though Tectone probably makes thousands of dollars a day, this still hurts to watch. Mihoyo thinks regular people will be so addicted to spend hundreds of dollars for such minimal improves to ONE character. That's why the vast majority of their playerbase is F2P and will never spend a dime as the return is just garbage.
From what I saw online, a looot of people (including myself) spend only on welkin and bp which is by far the best value in the game and is a consistent source of revenue. Whales whale because they want to.

Me who used to be f2p and lost the 1st 50/50 and got Mona. (I got $1000 and spent most of it on Raiden’s banner and won the second 50/50, along with getting c6 Sucrose and Xiangling.)

Good demonstration on how "unlucky" one can actually get. This game is so expensive, its really not worth spending money on it.

@@mobyhuge4346 Ya...personally i've only really done the BP and Welking and have been thinking of only doing Welkin once i get R5 for the current weapon i was getting from it (the catalyst, got the spear to R5 around Feb or March)...the extra primos, Int fates, fragile resin, and resources in general were nice and all but honestly don't really need them anymore as i've a strong enough team now as is and i'd rather save the 10 to 20 (depending on which BP you buy) bucks. At least with Welkin i'll feel like i put what Mihoyo actually deserves, $60 for each region update/all content from say 2.0-2.6 (or whatever the final patch #s for the 2.__ series will be), into the game.
Personally the game's entire style feels more like a standard retail game design wise rather than a gacha game with the whole open world aspect and story focus (when you have story of course). Honestly the game never should've been turned into a gacha and should've been something like FFXIV with just cosmetics and stat boosing items as dlc at most.
Game's probably gonna get a lot of backlash in response to this...was giving them the benefit of the doubt with last 2 characters and even Kokomi since they previous 2 characters could at least do a reasonable amount of damage while fitting their role but Kokomi unfortunately doesn't do her role well enough for her status as a 5* and does far too little damage to warrant it...especially as it's mostly because of a negative tradeoff in crit rate that doesn't have any positive trade off in exchange by the looks of it (hell if HP or Healing Bonus at least gave her enough ATK% or for each negative Crit rate she has she gained about 1-5% ATK%/100 or so flat attack it may have been worth it or if her normals had about 300% or so modifiers per hit and about a 700% or more on charged attack it may have been an equal exchange...but no).
Just about the only thing that can save her (and possibly this game entirely) is if Mihoyo gets their heads out of their asses and re-balance her to either increase her dps or make her a full on healing support that's worth it (say add a revive all characters mechanic every 3 to 5 minutes when using her burst or adding a 50% or more ATK buff to her burst and allowing it to continue onto the next character while giving it the same properties it does to Kokomi: stagger resistance, ATK boost based off Kokomi's HP or their own, healing for each normal attack that hits, etc). With that said i don't want to see her or future characters reworked into the next Ganyu because, imo, Ganyu's broken in the other direction of making her far too strong for no real good reason (if she was an archon i could see why she'd be that strong but she's not)...Baal and Yoimiya were, imo, balanced in a way Mihoyo should've been doing the game from the start but they completely dropped the ball and broke balance making Kokomi too weak (and Ganyu and a few other non Archons like Kazuha and Hu Tao too strong for no real good reason and have forced more or less artificial difficulty into things like the Abyss to make up for it).
Its better to make the game paid and go generous on the gacha cost , this is just depressing

But to have to possibly spend $350 just to get a character you want at c0 is utter bullshit
If spending a lot of money is enjoyable for you, I think it’s fine. All there is to life is happiness, so why not?
And this, Teccy, Is how many f2p's feel (me included), when having to hard pity and lose 50/50 first, before getting the character they want three banners later. It's fucking pain.
My last limited character was Klee.... I do primogem resin refreshes but still that's sad.
But it is incredibly more pain for whales for when you lost money over it (me included)
I'm pretty sure its way worse for him since he spent way more money than expected on a character he particularly disliked just for content lol
