- On this episode, I shop out a 1992 Williams FISH TALES pinball machine playfield. I tear the entire playfield down and install New posts & rubbers. I also fix the fishing reel mechanism and polished up some hardware. I then touched up some areas of the playfield with custom mixed enamel paint. I add a custom Miller High Life Beer Can Mod to finish it off. It now plays better than new! Next up, Full cabinet decals to finish off the restoration... But you will have to watch that on another upcoming episode.

That part about the belt drive swap on the fishing reel was super helpful. If I didn’t have your video it would’ve taken me an hour!

years ago one of these machines was in the break room at work, it was a lot of fun. i really liked the setup of the two ramps that go around the boat, and if you hit the ball just right it falls down the the 2nd 'up' ramp for extra bonus points. i put a lot of quarters into that machine over the few years it was available.

Dude, you’ve got a shot at making a really great pin channel here. All ya gotta do is film as much of your work as ya can and just piece it together, intermixed w some time-jumps & -lapses. Then just VO the work ya did. Don’t underestimate how much time pinheads’ll spend watchin these restorations! 🤷♂️
High End Pins & Cary Hardy are gettin good eyeballs doin it. You can, too. Maybe it’s just for quick promos of your shop, but you _could_ easily grow this channel w your personality. ✌️

I will get to the Fish Tales cabinet soon! Cutting stencils everyday for the rest of the world is my full time job. All these FUN restores are in my free time. I NEED to find someone to edit my videos for me and get a nice BIG audience!
