Thank you for this! Love someone giving tribute to Sonata, I grew up listening to this band but never could quite make out all the lyrics. Due to your clear pronunciation I finally figured out the missing parts of several songs (and I`m Finnish so should be able to figure out Tony`s accent) Now if only I could figure out who you remind me of... Rob Trujillo kinda but AFAIK he doesn`t sing ( at least nowehere near as well)

I was playing this in background in a random mix, and thought that Sonata themselves came to their senses and issued a very good remaster 😂
This was one of the first titles I've heard from Sonata Arctica in college and got me totally hooked on power metal. Then I also discovered Avantasia and there was no turning back, metal was my new favorite music genre.
Try Dynazty with Nils Molin also...perfect power metal band..👍

I haven't heard Sonata Artica covered much. It's a brave move to do so. Shows that you actually believe in what you do. Believe in you and in your fans and keep doing what you do. There's no shortcut to huge money, Very few bands get there. Stay close to your fans.
As I mentioned while watching/listening to your Facebook Reel for this song about 20 minutes ago, I had to go look up the lyrics online, to get the full story and understanding of the double-sided agony. I never heard the original from Sonata Arctica, but I'm really glad I've now seen and heard your earlier video, and now am in the middle of hearing this more mature and emotional presentation. Sonata Arctica is in my top three absolutely favorite metal bands, so I'm grateful to you for this cover. Honestly, anything from Silence album would be a hit as a cover.

I opened this in a background tab and was going through Twitter for a few minutes 100% thinking I was listening to Sonata Arctica. Then it hit me and I felt terrible for putting Dan in any tab but the foreground. This is one of my favorite songs, not only from SA, but overall. This is the song that got me into metal, so many years ago before I discovered this channel, and the first time I heard Dan hear sing it I got emotional and felt a lot of nostalgia. I like to come back to this cover sometimes to be reminded of how life was and what I've learned over the last decade.
