Super
Thanks😊
Thank you for this recipe. Just a quick question ! Can I replace the idli rice with any other rice. Will it still come out as soft ?! Thank you 🙏
Yes please. Use any other rice which you usually use it for dosa.
@@bhusanur.cooking Tku for ur prompt reply 🙏👍
😍
@@bhusanur.cooking In fact any cooking rice available can be used for this recipe..soaking for two hours is plenty …and you don’t ferment…take out half or more..of the ground batter…add a pinch of baking soda…and salt to taste…and a teaspoon of coconut oil…brush the skillet too with moisture and then with oil..your dosas come out thick..with plenty of aeration…and can be stored to use for four days..keep in the frig..for storage..so the coconut does not get rancid…and use the batter at room temperature. Try this.. I use this method once a week. I use Jasmine rice from the Chinese food store..add a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds…and one cup of mixed coconut flakes sweetened and unsweetened…gives a great texture and taste. Thanks 🙏
@@bhusanur.cooking sorry for this delayed messaging. I would like to know if I could use brown Basmati rice for this recipe. I hv a huge quantity in stock and would like to use it up. Pls advise. Thank u 🙏

My sister in law is telling they must have added soda or eno etc.. Otherwise it's highly impossible to get that soft dosa.. Please clear the confusion.😊
Not added soda or eno. Its fermented dosa not instant.

This is appam not dosa, sorry to say...

In konkani we call dosa for everything for eg neer dosa, masala dosa etc or pole. But in kerela ppl call it appam etc.
Nice
Thanks😍
