Did you rebuild the original fuse? or is that an entirely new plane? Usually in a quick desent like in your last crash its either the elevator control clevis broke? or a bad elevator servo gone crazy or a messed up gyro that put it into a dive when activated? I just hate when im not quite sure what the cause is?
Fuselage split and slightly compressed on mold lines. With boiling water, solved the compression and with epoxy and spackling, sealed the wound. Much sanding and Rustoleum paint, well you saw the video. I changed the receiver and verified my firmware was up to date. Time will tell. Jim
@@barqwoof Wow you did an amazing repair job on it cause that was a hard hit to the ground. more weight from glue and epoxy is a good thing anyway. i didnt like the way mine flew with 2200 to 3300mah 4s batteries all the way forward and once i put the 5000mah 4s all the way forward it flew 10 times better penetrating the wind better and no more Non Floaty Feeling Flights.
@@looneytunes47 I fly with 2650mah 4 cell batteries and I found it necessary to add an iron slug about the size of your thumb to meet the correct balance point. Jim
Yeah that plane has a whole lot of wing area and a super light airframe which made it feel like a big silly butterfly kite with not enough weight in the nose but once i found the sweet spot too get to fly like a big balsa it was Nervana for me.
Happy to see the BEECHCRAFT back in the air nice repair well done 😎
It is remarkable with epoxy, household spackling, spray paint, and lipstick can do. Thanks Bob. Jim
