Ten-year Maschine owner here: my advice is to 100% adopt the workflow. Don't bend it or try to adjust it. If you really get it under your fingers, these things are just so much fun to play. Great set!

I'm working with TR8S and MC707 as well, but i recently got a 2nd hand Maschine +. How do you make your kick-bass with this beast ? Any favorite instrument or preset for this ? Your sounds are always very fine (fain) and powerful, I really appreciate them. Keep going bro.

I can play for hours without stopping but I am I aiming more towards the Music without Drums... offcourse I play Psy Trance and Techno/House and Tech but as a Shadow or for my self...I don't know I I grew up over Music I wanted to produce but I love to listen and to see Maschine Users taking advantage . I miss USB storage device as File manager in both directions but I like that I can place Lock States on Time Line accurately almost as Automation ( same is with Scenes and Selection but it can be acces by external environment and... it's not that important to be honest, it's just great to have that option

Grazie per questo video .. fino adesso mi sono frenato ad acquistarlo purché non ho ancora ascoltato nessun demo in rete con un kit drums acustico .. solo roba troppo elettronica per i miei gusti essendo un chitarrista mi chiedevo se ci sono suoni più realistici ... forse mi servirebbe una dritta se si potranno istallare altri pacchetti più acustici
Yes 😂 interesting topic but one's you learn at home you are going to attract many eyes and ears. I keep Unmark Quad connected to main Mixer just in case but I didn't have any crashes or waiting for loading group while my track playing in solo Mode. It's great device and I hope that simplicity will be more clear and knowing what are limitations it is easier to do impossible or brake the rules...like different independent Tempos on every track-Pad or something that will make you do new things compared to Mouse or Surface Controller and Write Automation because it can be boring while on Maschine you ajust one point - Pad - Lock State - Snapshot and later just turn MIDI back to M+ and use empty group and Pad to control Lock States as they are Notes which are triggering them precisely. Huge Festivals are "fake" and movement is happening around the Mixer EQ...OK Trumpet is playing the real instrument but that time is passed Long time ago. I was watching live Astral Projection with 23 Hardware Instruments , Mixer , Amiga Cubase and it was expensive because we didn't buy those Hardware but rent them... result was different but enough for majority not to care.

You save the group and when save It save with samples , when you load a group press shift and push with pattern and so in this way you get the group with samples and relative patterns
What is your worklow. Do you prepare your stems in a daw and load them in machine and combine it live? Researching right now if i should buy the machine+. I never used machine before, but i looking for a sampler for a long time now and the machine+ i think fit my needs of do exactly what i described or asked you. Preparing stems from my scribble and tracks and play them live at some point.
Stable is stable and no bug. The big problem is the cpu atom, very poor. You can’t open 3-4 vst plug in + 2 drum track… by the way after some time, you learn about this limit and with some trick you can make It ( resample the track and using loop for example 😂) in my live I use 90% loops made by me.
Wow. Great performance.Is it less stressful to the cpu if you load just 2 groups per bank? Didnt know that. I had the same approach. Each group a song, but when i used 8 groups a bank, the cpu went nuts and the audio had hiccups.
I load 2 groups ( 2 songs) then I cancel the last and load the next and so on and on. With 2 songs uploaded my cpu is about 55/60 % . The song is made by 8 loops in 8 pads . In this case 8 is the magic number 😃

when you upload a new song to one of the two active groups, what do you basically upload? from the browser menu I don't understand what loads: groups/sound/one shot/loop/instruments or what?
So you always load two groups inside, but what is with the patterns of the Group, they will not get exported too or is there any possibility to bring the created patterns you made with all the groups?

You can, but I like prepare all with Maschine plus, in the box. I create the loops with It. Not with daw.

@marcus268 you can use long samples, this is no cpu limits. Cpu goes in crisis when you put plugin fx .

Browser: groups . When you sace a group remember to save it with samples and patterns
