bloody good song, but I'm trying to work out the meaning behind the song name. Gringo's meaning is "white foreigner" in Spanish but the lyrics just don't give me any clues as to what the song is about. But I shall enjoy this just like every other Manowar song. Gringo doesn't means "white foreigner" the origin of the word comes from the mid 1800 when United States invaded Mexico to steal half of it's territory and the Mexican soldiers used to yell at the American soldiers "Green go home" due to the color of the uniform on the American soldiers,so the word "Gringo" is now is derived from that phrase.
@@sanctumsanctorum754 oh i guess the meaning had a different origin back in the day then, all i know is that me being spanish living in a spanish country, the word gringo is actually used to imply someone who is in a spanish country, but isn't hispanic/latino themselves. so not necessarily a white person (will correct it), though the term does get used more commonly for white people.

I prefer the Lord of Steel versions over the Hamer editions because the solos and the ending of the songs (Hammer edition overuse the fade out for me)
