You have now entered the rarefied air zone songwriting-wise, even for LOVEBITES. While they are never too predictable (except for the certainty you would be getting each one's best shot and two smoking guitars no matter what!), this song is where they put the "progressive" back into Prog... meaning a song that always develops, never repeating itself and moving across sections towards a glorious resolution. Very inspiring. AND - the band has more songs like that, which I do not believe you have experienced yet!.. Much to discover, many tricks up their sleeve! Yep, they can do ballads too, or partial ballad in this case. The 3 "E" songs , all from the first 2 albums, are their ballads or partial ballads. This one is from the 1st album, Awakening From Abyss. Asami wrote the lyrics, Mao the music. The other 2 are "Epilogue" and "Empty Daydream". Both were played live in Tokyo 2019 (Daughters of the Dawn DVD).
