    Man made are a nightmare I cut my tee on them in the early 80s laid thousands on office and industrial units got to get it straight from the of lost of marking out on the batten those rivets need a 5 mm gap between the slate and you need to keep to that gauge or you’ll end up crying I’ve seen it find wise they look lovely but the older ones sun bake over time and turn into glass making repairs like yours a nightmare sometimes nice neat repair though mate
