I did not find Quandary Peak easy by any means, and I have done multiple other 14ers. It was likely because of the conditions that day and not being prepared with microspikes or poles.
Yeah, that has happened to me. I did one during bad conditions, and it seemed pretty difficult. A few weeks later, I did Longs thinking it would be harder or about the same, and it was way easier. Conditions make a big difference.
