People from the coast have more money than people in the valley. They sell their house on the coast for $1 million or more, then pay cash here. Fresno is also getting people moving from the Bay Area. Lot's of new luxury apartments being built on land that was vacant for decades. Also lots of homes being built in Fresno and Clovis.
I’ve been here working for 2 weeks now it’s been between 108 & 106 deg. everyday & with the AC on all day it never gets below 80 deg. It’s unbearable & they say this is a area for outdoor type people which is a joke you can’t do anything in the day not even fishing. But if the right opportunity came I’d move there because you can’t pass it up. I live along the coast & the temps inside with the AC on are hotter then our daily average temps which are in the 70’s.
I think it's crazy that we keep building houses here.But we don't keep building as many jobs.Who's going to have the money to pay for the houses?
