I flew Dreamliner extra legroom economy to Dominican Republic august 2022. Cabin was spotless and staff friendly and helpful they let my son who is autistic sit in the pilot seat when arriving back to Gatwick. 10 out of 10
I'm glad you had a great time! Tui are nice to fly with and the dreamliner is a lovely aircraft. What a wonderful experience for your son, bet he loved it!
im doing this exact same plane and flight in december.. we only booked the normal economy seats ...are these them in your video or did u go premium seating? however onthe way back we have gone for extra legroom seats
@@flyingmyles so for the way home we are at the back of the plane but in middle with the xyra legroom seats but going there we are at the very back on the right but standard seats
@w.p.w.p I love travelling at the back, always my preference, sadly the video from the window doesn't look as good though, everyone loves seeing the engine. I'm sure you'll have a great flight!
Thanks for watching. The flight was reasonably full, but we were lucky enough to have the seat at the end free. Janurary is a bit of a hit and miss month, but I doubt it will be full.
They do offer a good product to be fair. On the way back they only gave 2 drinks out for the entire trip but other than that it's good. Let's hope they can sort out the delays and it'll be back to being superb!
@@flyingmyles really..u ever fly economy long distance with TUI....its terrible. I did twice to mexico and once jamaica but now its enough. The long distance seat distance is too small if i compare it with others price quality. Seats in europe are ok but long distance its a shame and i don't understand people accept all this that easily.
I think you should be OK, Tui's legroom on the dreamliner is better than most airlines pitch at 33 inches. Compare that with Ryanair which is 30 inch (if you've flown with them) or easyjet that have 29 inches.
TUI Defrauded me out of compensation . First there was no inflight entertainment on the flight out to Barbados which the crew said we could claim for then the return trip to Gatwick was changed to WAMOS charter airlines which was delayed and didn't have the correct seats so no extra leg room seats . The entertainment on Wamos was only available via its onboard app which only some could use as low battery power and no charging points . Then TUI admitted the flight was delayed for 3 hrs and 6 mins which meant compensation. I was paid the refund for the loss of leg room seats and the entertainment on flight back back refused the refund for the flight out as Premium seats had full entertainment , With regards to the delayed flight first it was a passenger went ill then it was a crew member who was ill then another person said it was caused weather so everyone was conned .
this was really helpful - we are flying TUI next September x thanks so much for sharing x

They really are a nice plane to fly on and Tui offer a good service too
Set to tly G-TUIM home today after an aircraft upgrade from the -8

Great video, in regards to seat pick and leg room - how tall are you?
Hi, 6ft and room was good
Great seat 20A, but arent the first 20 rows premium in Tui flights?
Not with Tui, 787-8 first 7 rows and 787-9 are the first 9 rows.
Flying to MBJ from LGW with TUI in July. Hope it’s as pleasant as this 😂
I'm sure it will be, Tui are usually pretty standard across all their bases. You'll have to let me know how it goes !

Great video 😊
Thanks! Are you flying with Tui soon?
Yes , not booked it yet , but going to cancun in January . I loved the Dreamliner. We went on it in Dec 2015 to The Dominican Republic.
@soniaallenden5308 yes they are a lovely Aircraft. Hope you have a great holiday if you do book!
How full was that flight? did you have the row to yourself?

Yes, and a pillow
Hi, do you get one meal or two for a 10 hour flight? thanks
I do show you on the video, you get a meal 2 hours in and a snack towards the end

I'm 6ft 1 so not too much difference.

did you find the cabin clean? ive seen a few videos where the cabin looked filthy. doing the dreamlienr to thailand in march
I've been many times on Tui's dreamliners and never found them dirty. In fact I'd say they are quite clean compared to some airlines I've been on
