Adult here. I am definitely going to grab these. Zion’s game takes me back to the 90s. (Barkley 2.0) And he’s a genuinely nice guy. I’m legit into these because of the player. And the zoom. And the price.

It's crazy to think what the benefits could be in the individual growth if he played in the 90's. Straight up bodying Rudy Gobert, Tristan Thompson, reverse layup on Davis. His attacking ability arguably is the best since Jordan too

Chris pretty much covered it. That cushion sound crazy... Meh on the upper. Not sure what Nike and jordan will do if signature Jordans ever become unpopular... They clearly are not investing into the next generation with an upper like that. They had a chance to really make a statement with this generation of athlete, outside of who's shoe it is, I haven't seen an excitement for these.
My son is 11 and he's extremely excited for me to get these for him. Literally started jumping up and down when he saw these!

Eh ion know. Looks are alright and the cushioning is good but ive seen much better first sigs over the past couple years. But zo be fair most first sigs come in way more expensive so it's all good

I'm 40 and I can't wait to get them. I rather they keep them at $120 than putting a bit of leather and jacking up the price to be honest.
They allow max air flow for ventilation with mesh material...keeps feet cool and dry..these will be most popular on vourt shoes...once people stop hating...price...double cushion system...unique design etc
I really dig that Zion logo. I'm 40 so I'm all about the Jordans from 1 through 14. Ok, up to 13. I had the 14s and didn't care for them. I do love Zion. Great kid. His fav player is MJ. I'll buy these if they drop to like $60.

For playing outdoors this cushion set up is amazing. I’m 25 and the Hyperdunks came out when I was in middle school, they were a spaceship for your feet. To me performance basketball shoes have always been synthetic. Then when Rondo was balling out in the first Hyperfuse everyone in my high school had a pair. None of us could afford the Kobe’s but that hyperfuse 1 and 2 changed the game! Pure nostalgia. I concede that none of those are cooler than the 90s classics but those aren’t my era.
I just got a pair of PE Rondo Hyperfuse 2010s. Absolutely forgot how incredible that cushion was from when I was ballimg out in middle school

Its crazy how nike/jordan has some of the most iconic silhouettes but Jordan brand has yet to produce a banger for signature athletes and the brand outside of the jumpman pro.
I’m old 38 and I’m excited for these. Zion is my favourite player these days and with that cushion set up it’s a must cop for me. Little disappointed in the materials because that’s usually my deal breaker for a shoe but I’m all about comfort these days so these are a must for me

I'm 41 and copped them without hesitation. Not a fan of alot aspects of the shoe but it's 120. Can't complain unless u want to compare it to something else. It's Zion, not who it's being compared to

Love the content.. great reviews and hilarious editing with the added in clips. To me they look like the beefed up Kyrie 4s he wore while at Duke after he returned to the court after the blowout against UNC. Modified further in the upper of course, but based on that shoe’s silhouette. I like the look of them and look forward to seeing how they feel on feet.
Zion 1 actually reminds me stylistically of the Jordan Super.Fly line and what it would have become. I could easily see these being called the Jordan Super.Fly 2021, not that that is a bad thing. Great review guys, looks like tgey beat Nike's own GT line to retail with the cushion setup

Why is Luka don't have a signature shoe? Luka is 1 year above zion in the league and proven to be a better player and more achievements than zion in the NBA right now (no disrespect to Zion, he is a very different kind of a monster) but I think Luka deserves to have one too 🙌🙌🙌

43 year old adult. I don't even go that hard on sneakers or any particular team or player but I've been watching Zion since his Junior year in HS so I'm definitely copping these.
I think adults will be all over these. Besides Zion himself being a one of a kind player, the shoe's cushioning & support will attract adult hoopers, and even more so the simple, clean white/black colorway will. Many adults don't do all the wild colors & looks. These bring us back to the classic Jordans style.
1st impretion is, I'm in love in those!!!

Honestly wish they'd bring back the melo line, or at least retro the old stuff! Loved that line so much
I'd buy Melo 1.5 people hated that shoe but it's the first Jordan shoe I had. I would not play in them now because I can still feel the burn from that ankle support lol
Oooo!! Nike cushion set-ups to me have been somewhat too similar in most of their ball shoes, but because of the name value of Zion, I get really excited about these...and it’s been a while!

Diggin the fact that you have the Air Jordan XX3 23 in the White/Red colorway. The XX3 is one of my favorite Air Jordan shoes. Really wish Jordan Brand would retro the XX3 in the original colorways. Especially the "Finale" colorway. As for the Jordan Brand Zion 1, the shoe isn't for me. And another shoe with the clear rubber soles. But, do agree with the price point being made to make more accessible to the general public.
Material-wise, they're not great, but I personally love the design and model of the sneaker. I was surprised at the price point because I was expecting Zion to be more of a flagship for the brand, but maybe that will change if he starts to get some major wins.
Ordered these yesterday and received them today and these sneakers are so fiya in person I lovem easy to rock casually💯

$30 bucks in labor , material , marketing and shipping. Plus zions salary. $120 for sneakers. 80 dollar profit for Jordan and Nike. Not bad pricing. In 2021 these are affordable.
I don’t normally wear a Jordan but am interested in getting these to play in.
I’d say, like signature guitars, they make them budget to sell, but the artist or player is using premium materials on their own.

Naming signature shoes like “Jordan Zion 1 / Jordan Why Not 0.1” makes it feel like MJ is still the Signature athlete, just worn by athletes like Zion and Westbrook. It could've been better if they name it like “Zion 1 by Jordan Brand / Why Not 0.1 by Jordan Brand”.

It's a basic looking shoe that will be easy to clean and maintain. It has great cushioning and the first shoe should be plain so the next model looks like an improvement.
I've got the bred or crimson one. Very comfortable. Traction good enough for me as I don't do a lot of insane fast change in direcrion. Used them outdoor, I thing they'll last. Fantastic cusion! No ankle or knee pain since I got these! I'm alright with them cutting cost on the upper, as long as it works, cause I can't spend over $120 on basketball shoes. I'm broke. 😁😁😁
Nike/Jordan jacked the Dame2s the only channel that will say it🙌🏾🙌🏾. Team Jordan’s use to be my joints before they took tech out of them. I’ll be getting these plus the pinkish red color

I think they aren't to the level to represent Zion signature shoes, because they're under the umbrella of Jordan brand. In my opinion they can't be best than Jordan 34, 35, etc. I remember, for example, the first Reebok Pump signature shoe and I think they represent perfectly how must to be a big guy shoe. The only thing I like it's the cushion set up. Great vídeo.

I see what you mean about the materials. But keep in mind Zion as well as Zion’s generation of younger athletes has likely never played in any basketball shoes with leather. Unless you’re playing in Retros, we grew up on these synthetic materials so that’s probably what he wanted simply because he’s used to it

The cushion setup is the savior of the shoe otherwise I wouldn't even insult team Jordan kicks by comparing them to this. Jordan brand could've done better for a first signature model

I passed on a raffle "W" as a US10 is NOT a wide footer friendly, I would compare this to the Zoom Freak 1 in which I would purchase a US10.5 as I need more width in my shoes.

Agree. Sole looks great but material on top look cheap. Can't hate the shoe as whole though... At the price point and overall look is pretty crisp.
Just copped these last week in the Kansas City area. I saw them featured in the front of Footlocker, and had to snag them. At first lace up, they are surprisingly flexible and should be ideal for summer games.
