Thank you so much for sharing . I have kept my past bottled up since I was a child . I am now 60 . This encouraged me . God Bless you . I needed to hear this . When I was growing up you did not talk about things of this with nobody .
Amanda thanks for sharing. I too was abused from age 8 to 19 and even once in my 20's. I told one family member but was told to keep my mouth shut because if my dad found out he will kill that man and he would go to jail and I wouldn't have a daddy anymore. Eight years old and had to deal with this. I felt like my life didn't matter, wasn't important enough for her to talk to him about what he had done. Just was told to stay away from him, yet she made me go to his house with her once a week. Abuse doesn't have to be a physically touch. It can be words or motions too. I'm 50 now and my dad went to his grave in 2008 not ever knowing. I overcame it years ago and refused to let this man ruin my life. He never held my child. I wouldn't let him. I find myself as I get older being a little resentful. It was more important to hide it then to confront him about it. Made me feel so unloved. I never want anyone to feel that way. God bless you for sharing your story.

I just had the pleasure and blessing of going to the Crabb Family 2015 reunion tour and remember Aaron mentioning he had sent his wife flowers for Valentine's day (which she finally got). God never ceases to amaze me :-)

Amanda the reason why you were tooken advantage of because the devil peeped into your future,singing career,marriage,family and he was intimidated by it, he was afraid of you he seen the Divine Blueprint that the Lord had for your life...and he wanted to destroy you with internal torment,sadness,depression,emotional struggle and insecurity,moral depravity
