I live in Tokyo ( came from Switzerland almost a decade ago ). I really like the clear lotion from Shiro. My skin is very pale and sensitive. And surprisingly this clear lotion did not make my skin breakout or reddened ( thise two conditions are terrible on a very pale skin!). Added bonus : I have a sprinkling of faint freckles on my nose and under eyes and that clear lotion substantially diminishes those freckles and gives my skin a flawless look.

I bought one of those kettles online from Australia. It is the best kettle ever for a wood stove. I love it. I’ve burnt through many kettles but this one looks durable, Thank you. Japanese quality is brilliant.

I'll be travelling to Japan soon and was wondering where to buy them physically? Coincidentally, I'll be going to Wakayama but the main shop seems pretty out of the way.
Today when at Shinjuku station, I saw SHIRO at the corner of my eye, literally! It only took me less than 5 mins to decide what to get (tks to your recommendation! Also cos the hubby and boys were all waiting… haha). Tks for sharing!

Hello! Thank you for your question. I think it really depends on your skin condition and the range of skincare you're currently using as both products have very different price points. If you're looking for hydration, I definitely recommend Decorte. It has worked wonders for my skin and I enjoy using it everyday. If you already have quite a robust skincare regime but would like to add on, then Shiro clear lotion is great! It's more watery in texture and works well as a first layer after you have cleansed your face and before layering on other products. I hope this helps!

My usual regimen is just wash my face, moisturize and foundation during day time and serum at night, which by the way, please do tell us what do you recommend serum for over 50 yo, open pores face, getting drier too!
