Great episode that gives an insight into one of the steps needed to accomplish everyday tasks aboard the ISS.
Love those chimes 🎉
So cool to see all the little quality of life improvements necessary for space life. Like the padding on all the rails, and velcro on all the things. Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome. More on station episodes please!
Hey! Great episode. Nice to mix it up that way. Thanks!
Thanks for the tour domicik Mathew
Good... I need this for my hobbies or idraulics home works ❤❤❤👍👍👍
Love you space love you good nass🇸🇦🇺🇸❤️
The Concerts on the Avenue series, featuring the United States Navy Band and Navy Ceremonial Guard, is presented on select Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm during the summer at the

in Washington, D.C.
So cool!
Cool 👍
unmistakable !!! Snap-on Tools !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dreamt of going to space and I never made it but, I have Snap-on tools !!! just like on the ISS !!!!
It's extra weird to see spanners floating around. Maybe because we know how heavy they feel?
So Cool.
The tool storage is cool, but...uh, y'know, *duct tape*!
awesome
❤
Thank you, much appreciated.👍👩🚀👨🚀🌕🔴
I see quite a few tools missing. You guys may want to start a chit system to make sure items get returned after use.
The missing tools were probably in use by the other astronauts while making this video.
With the prices of snap on. Tools you gotta keep a close eye
That tool box is bliss, everything easy to reach & in it's own place. Loved the wind-chime sounds!
I feel like snapon is not worth it if you cannot really use the warranty
I wonder how old some of those tools are, since I would imagine there are reasons to avoid using US customary units for designing equipment on station these days and stick with metric.
I imagine most things are metric now everywhere. But the socket drive sizes 1/4" 3/8" 1/2" are pretty universal around the world.
At 2:06 does anybody know that crimper model? I know these DMC crimpers are commonly used in the aviation/aerospace industry so I'm trying to see how this particular model compares to the Deutsch crimpers used in the automotive industry and what makes it space -rated.
DMC MH860 Intermediate Step Adjustable Crimp Tool - Mil-Spec M22520/7-01 a standard tool for use inside the ISS.
@@nightjarflying Nice! Surprisingly, they are not as expensive as I thought they would be. They're around the same price and even cheaper than many of those non-aerospace/military-rated crimpers from Molex and JST.
@@Cristi4n_ArielI expect the supplier adds on treble or more for testing, labelling & slight mods. On a cost plus basis of course!
@@nightjarflying You bet!
That is a very cool video!
Respect
I have to believe there is at least one 10mm socket lost on the ISS.
are there any unique items…. 💁
when I say unique… I mean original design…. maybe
Are you ok?
They are mostly standard tools, not custom. Some grips are changed such as the handles on the scissors so they can be used whilst wearing 'space gloves.'
lol he probably went on Amazon to buy more tool boxes after filming.
Need more tools like files, lasers and something like air tools that could use the vacuum of space to run just might want to lower the torque so don't implode
Implode? You don't seem to know what you're talking about. How does the vacuum of space permit "air tools" to run? Tools are powered by human muscle or electric battery [such as the B&D-designed cordless electric drill] - I don't know of any pneumatic tools, the air lines would be a nuisance for a start.
@@nightjarflying like if was hole in spaceship (vacuum of space ) harvest into tool ( implode)
@@wirehyperspaceEnglish is not your native language? Please write in Spanish, Portuguese - whatever you're good at. PS The Liberty Engine Project is a scam.
@@nightjarflying well night jar/ don't think your made of memory metals and would implode as a airtool, to become space garbage and would have to clean you up with hologram lasers on the 5th element everlasting life nanotechnology kardashev scale ( rat in maze couldn't get its cheese 🍕🐀🍎 /in New York its free flowing ( the big apple)
@@wirehyperspaceNah, it's just your garbage, not space garbage. If I want NYC I'll take someone from thereabouts better w language - James Baldwin, Frank O'Hara etc
Take that all you Snap-on haters!
