Fun fact That rubble crusher that you take the rock to. The model for that is actually from a old giants game called “demolition company” it even still has the same sound effect
I think the stone clearing could benefit from a texture change on the 'cleaned' ground, when used irl there is can be a pretty massive colour difference between the effectively sieved clear dirt and un-picked dirt, and that would make it much easier to keep track of where you've done in game. That being said, glad to see its been added! That being said, I appreciate that from a UX perspective adding more colour variations to the land could cause confusion
@@i_am_tilly2005 I'm not a farmer myself, parents own farmland but its all leased out. I think in general constant turning of the soil in cultivation and ploughing brings up new rocks, but the land I've grown up in has been cultivated for well over a century, so there aren't a huge number of buried stones. Fields that have been neglected for some time tend to need more work. Equally if a field is furrowed deeply (might be the wrong term there!) deeper rocks are quickly brought to the surface. Also, frost brings rocks up from deeper, so in springs after colder winters more stone picking needs to be done
@@i_am_tilly2005 Hey, Canadian farmer here. Lots of rocks rise every year mostly from frosting and defrosting. Also if you disturb the soil like cultivation, it will throw them on the surface. Actual stone picking looks nothing like this though, you just swerve around and pick up ones you warrant big enough. Sometimes I find rocks bigger than a four wheeler/atv you dig those ones out.
Im very new to this game. You've shown me more about the game in these first 2 episodes than I've learned watching a ton of beginners guides... Thank you! Now, I can really get the most out of my time.
Hi Daggerwin, loving the series so far! Just to let you know you can also roll stones back into the soil - don’t need to collect them and I believe it is a cheaper option as well as adding a fertilise stage if you roll after sowing :) Hope this helps!
I watched all your videos when I played FS 19 and now I’ve just purchased FS 22 I’m back 😂 such an enjoyable game and it’s surprising how much you learn about agriculture playing it
Absolutely. I just hope they worked on the AI as well, so they don't plow right into a tree, or traffic, or something. The old worker was... well... Let's just say that the tractor driving school didn't quite do it for them. :D
They are definitely going to have to do something about finding a rock rake texture for the field. That is completely unacceptable to not be able to tell where you've been and where you haven't
I just took my mom, dad, brother and sisters phone and subscribed to you cause you're vidoes and gameplay are more worth than just 742k subscribers. Keep doing the great and awesome work man👍😎👌
Giants if your listening ! Please ad driver hands to the in cab views.. It would make the sim much much more immersive.. Have it as an option to turn on or off, although id highly doubt many would select to turn it off if it were implemented..
This game looks really quite a step up from 17. It looks way more realistic not at all cartoony. The texture of the soil being turned over is gorgeous and looks so rich If I had to pick my favourite part it’s be the sounds, there’s a lot gone into getting all the individual tractors and machines but the two sounds I just live so far is the sound of the crop entering the thresher and the clunk of disconnecting implements. If only my old potato would run this game! Btw Dagg Erwin you need to cultivate that strip in the first field when you tested the autonomous workers. Loving the series so far Lots of love
Daggerwin - Have they changed the mechanics around maintenance and machines breaking? I feel like this should be more dynamic. for example, the need to maintenance of a piece of equipment increases as you use it the likelihood of the equipment randomly having something break or breakdown increase. Furthermore they should make fixing a break more expensive then maintaining the equipment which would entice users to repair equipment on a regular basis. The dynamic they could as, the older the equipment gets the increase in likelihood that something random with break on the equipment regardless of maintenance. There is alot they could do with it to make it more realistic.
Courseplay in my opinion for somethings better then the new System built into Farming simulator 22 so hopefully courseplay gets update to Farming simulator 22
I used machinery only series is a must! You can only use/upgrade equipment based off what is on sale. Maybe start of medium and use only the sale items to decide what to do next
Just a tip, dont think I’m stupid but if you have already bought a roller it’s good. I haven’t watched all the episodes. But a roller is very in use, it picks up rocks. And your seeds grow faster if you roll your farm before you seed:)
Autonomous workers have been updated from the mobile devices, such as ps vita for example. I have fs16 on ps vita. I turned on my ps4 pro to have a nice surprise to have fs22 already downloading. I pre-ordered fs22
when I played FS19, i always hoped to know more about what each attachment do, or if they do anything at all. stats, efficiency, numbers, or even just a worded description of the tools is really helpful for someone not really familiar with farming equipments..
That semi-autonomous worker is like the course play mod. Now that it's part of the base game perhaps there's more functionality that can be added to the mod if they decide to make it for fs22.
Not fully watched yet but would be good to see how bails are handled now with a fork lift or telehandler due to it being so poor in the previous versions.
I am a little disappointed in the rock picker, and rock system. Usually a field that size you would drag up maybe 20 or so good sized rocks, then you would drive next to it, stop, turn on the picker, kick the rock in the back and drive to the next rock. Here they have loads of rocks, and an always on mechanic, and you just drag the whole field. It would be a cool unique feature if you could drive up to the rocks you find, turn it on, and it just spins a bit to kick the rock in and then stops. But this system is just going back and forth like seeding, cultivating, or plowing, which is just not how a rock picker is used in real life.
i was a little bit doubtful about pre-ordering FS22, but the new workers made me pauze the video and pre-order it. Good thing my weekend starts on monday
I wonder if only the visible stones will actually have the potential to damage the implements and the actual constant accumulation of stones is just the stone collector actually digging deeper into the multiple layers of soil to grab stones that were on the way up
I realize hindsight is 20/20 but I would have kept the other cultivator until after the cultivating contracts were finished and or your fields were prepared.
I haven't noticed any dirty vehicles, with muddy tires etc. Does the equipment no longer get dirty? Either way, looks like Giants done a fantastic job with FS22 and I think a lot of fans are really going to like all this.
I understand why as it would probably be CPU intensive, but would of been good if the stones actually moved. But you can see when you run over them in a cultivator they are just static and don't move at all.
Fun fact

That is an awesome fun fact! Thanks for sharing

nice profile pic geeorge russel😂😂
Hey I have a question is it realistic how many rocks come up and wouldn’t the amount decrease over time

There is a texture change, you don't see rocks anymore, it looks smooth. Glad I could help.

3 vids and one stream today. This is madness. I can’t explain how happy I am 😁😁😁

Thanks for the tips!

Ist only one stage of fertelizer when you roll Grassfields. If you use a Roller on stones it gives +5% yeald and creats a nice seedbed
And one of the rollers was on sale as well I think
A roller works only for smaller stones it says at 16:40
8:20 attaching that cultivator sparks joy :D Finally you dont have to use front weight of a size of a smaller house to equalize weight distribution.
I can’t wait to start playing on Monday
Same
I have already watched a 7 Hour stream and 3 vids i cant waaaaaait
I think everyone is excited for monday
Sadly i have to go to school tomorow and will only be able to play fs22 Friday :(

Great commentary and detailed 👌

My biggest complaint with this game was trying to keep up. Workers should be able to do it all in tandem.
@@roymercer22 with course play in fs19 I could have 20-40 pieces moving at once. hopefully this can keep up with me.
Does it work on console
I wasnt exactly convinced to upgrade to 22, but after watching this video there are several improvements I am liking a lot. Kinda excited for it now
Good to see the Second episode so fast
The click of the indicators is so satisfying 👌
Mate your uploading faster than I can watch😂😂
They are definitely going to have to do something about finding a rock rake texture for the field. That is completely unacceptable to not be able to tell where you've been and where you haven't
Repainting and repairing does give your money back + a tiny bit more.
Flying stones at 24:15 Come on Giants, don't let us down!!!
U weren’t joking LOL! 😂😂😂
this is only the press release edition, not the final release.
@@jackclark1994 I do know that!
The rocks may be a little excessive unless you're farming near a gravel pit.. lol
Right? xD like where are we farming, Ireland? Have so many rocks you just start making rock walls lol
Nice touch with the Citroen 2CV´s in the traffic since it is a french map..
Love the creativity in your farm layouts!
Workers are actually useful! Such a badly needed upgrade. Looks fantastic cant wait for release.

the tractor sounds with the implements sound insane!
Can’t wait to see survival role-play
cant wait thanks for the videos keep it up
You can see the effect of the weight of the stones on the picker tires, when it is loaded.
You sounded like a kid pretending to be an adult for like the first 2 seconds of the video XD
Love your work mate, thanks for these videos.
Love this map and you’re videos
that rock picking looks like it will be a pain they might need to turn down the chance rocks appear

What’s that “shadow” that seems to appear on that field with the vines?

Think it's his render distance is set low. If it's the shadow I'm thinking of.
probably the shadows for the actual vines, even though they aren't grown yet
@@jackclark1994 it’s on the far side of the field. So not the vines.
