Chuckie I’ve been watching this podcast for the last 2 and a half years. I first started when I was battling with depression, now at this point in my life my dad has suddenly fallen ill and we had to take him into the hospital aswell. Thanks for always being transparent and real especially as a young black man coming from where we come from It’s appreciated and taught me that a lot of things we go through r normal. This podcast has got me through a lot, mothers! 💯
It wasnt 'that' bad for the majority because basically people either worked online or the government paid people to stay at home and online shop. A lot of people's networth grew in this 'pandemic'. If people want to experience a real depression then live through the 1st 2nd world wars. This isn't sh*t for the majority of people. In real depressions people aint going round hashtagging '2020 worst year ever' as they take another selfie of their bbl,watching netflix, ordering deliveroo.

2020 timeline for me: 1. Got my first job ever 2. Formed a live band and ran a live show for soulful UK hip hop/RNB to shine 3. Lost that job after 3 months due to COVID and obviously couldn't perform or rehearse with the band 4. Started releasing music every month in response... Got added to the official Spotify playlists for the first time and was picked as BBC track of the week twice in the same month ! 5. Started a even better job within music that helps young people find opportunities and development in music 2020s been a year to take opportunities and make the best out of the situation. It wasn't perfect but we made it perfect for us
