Every single performance I've seen with that frontman has made me think they are playing a backing track so either he is spot on or it's a backing track. Edit: I just googled that, I'm not the only one who thinks it.
i was in a band a long time ago,he is not backtracking the voice he is actually signing,but he sound so identical to him that’s why,but i’m pretty sure they are using voice effects live
