I've already requested the following in CORELDRAW. I want to be able to place an object THROUGH another, i.e. an Arrow through a circle. the circle being the letter O. If I could place a picture on here it would be the GOLDEN ARROW logo which was on certain engines in the 40s in the UK, I'm talking about steam locomotives not car engines. The logo was placed on the front of the locomotive which in turn had an Arrow on its sides. A well know train in the world if you were in the right age group. 21+vat.
Arnold Robert Lee The easiest thing is to divide the Arrow in two: the part of the Arrow that is _on_ the circle and the part that should be _behind_ the circle. At this point, once divided (also by cutting and pasting, simply), the two objects are independent, so you can decide to put one above and the other behind.

Little hard to understand at points but finally a video explaining to true first timers who do not know what the tools do yet vs the usual video of somebody "explaining" things but they use hotkeys so people can not follow along.
I learned a lot, and enjoyed the pleasant accent. I wish I could speak another language with the fluency she has with English, and feel embarrassed by the comments intimating that she does not speak 'propper English'. I imagine she can use a spellchecker!
