Visiting the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad

This is by far the largest one man collection museum in Hyderabad. My visit was back last month in Feb 2024. I visited with hubby and we saw two floors of museum space in the short afternoon we had. The highlights for me were the miniature painting and the ivory rooms. Besides these gallery rooms, the halls, corridors and the walls there were pretty interesting also with many historical photos and murals. The jewelry no longer is kept here I think and have been told that it is on display at special shows from time to time. Note: You might need to visit a few times to see everything there as there is so much to see.
