*I just pulled the trigger on the W Mini Scandi knife. I'm sure it will perfectly compliment my Varusteleka Terava Jääkäripuukko 110 and Terava Skrama 240 knives. I like the idea of the encapsulated full tang as well as the D2 steel choice, which in these tiny working knives should prove to be nearly ideal. The only improvement that I can envision might be to switch from D2 tool steel to the 80CrV2 steel that Varusteleka uses in all of their Terava knives, but that's truly nit picking. The Tiny Knife is far handier than I originally thought it was going to be, but I can just envision how uncomfortable that steel tang will be in cold weather for my 70-year-old hands and their osteoarthritis. I'm considering dipping the tang of the Tiny Knife in one of the more brightly colored liquid vinyl rubber handle coating materials to give the tang some greater bulk, as well as insulation for my hands in cold weather.
@EnduranceRoom I hadn't thought of a leather boot lace as a handle wrap, but I might give that a try. It probably wouldn't cost much more than Paracord, and would certainly be less expensive than the plastic vinyl rubber dipping compound.

A leather shoestring would make a good wrap for the tiny knife.

Th only thing is the handles get eaten by the oils from my hands they only last a few months before the handles get sticky and start coming off.
That is interesting. I didn’t notice that on these, but I did notice something similar on a machete they sent. Felt sticky.
