The static sound I think made Murrs life here a lot easy I feel. They helped him with deadpan delivery and he didn't have to be self conscious and embarrassed about what he was gonna say.
After this show being on air for so many years and to think of something completely fresh and this good is genius....and this can very well be turned into a challenge
Holy shit this proved that Murr would make an amazing villain character in a movie. The sarcastic clapping at the end, the soulless answers delivered with no remorse… pure evil.
@@nabilc1667 I don’t remember who published it, but I read that Murr has the highest net worth out of the four and it was estimated somewhere around 1.5 million. Some of his money comes from his books, which is what puts him above the other three. They basically carry the network, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the 1.5 million was a low estimate
Hilarious!... Pontooned, & the Grandmother couldn't be more deserving of the criminal act. Murr kept on talking because he couldn't hear with the static: that is 100% a brilliant bit to come up with; kudos to whomever thought up this masterpiece. I loved it when Murr claps & walks out! He does arrogance so well. It's a compliment to him. 👏
They HAVE to do this again. Its perfect. When the "joker" hears everything and gets all of the context, the might laugh or act in a specific way (still hilarous). But when they do this, things get VERY weird based on how murr can speak the lines in its purest form. There is no HINT that he is joking, he just comes across as a lunatic

True he would just go ahead and say with know what questions his responding too. That was easy for Murr

Most punishment you can get the secondhand embarrassment or feeling scared for the joker. But this punishment was just comedy gold.
Amazing how Murr seems so confident when they drown out noise from the external world
they should show the audience's reaction when they find out it's a prank! this is hilarious!
