i would love to see a video of Mike talking about how life has been like for him as a father so far. His expectations before and how his life has changed. I think that would be so cool! :)
You incorporate paid sponsorships into your videos better than anyone else I've seen in TH-cam - you make me not mind, you make it interesting and you are truly just the queen of vlogging!
I rarely see western people who live happily with their families like you, and even have a commitment to have a family. I'm really very happy to see you get along well and have children. We hope you two can gather with your grandchildren in the future! ^^
I’m shocked at the number of people saying they wouldn’t let a stranger hold their baby. The woman was only offering assistance as mike had to attend to river while he was eating. I think it was a nice gesture and I would absolutely be that person if I saw someone juggling a baby in their arms whilst trying to cut up their lunch. As long as she wasn’t running off with her, I wouldn’t mind at all. I have 2 little girls and sometimes the help of strangers in a public place is an absolute god send!
And super easy to say no if you're alright "We're okay but thanks for asking!" no reason to be rude, but if you don't feel comfortable no reason to say yes either. People understand.
Are you aware that some people might even try to steal your baby or something? It's right to be suspicious of strangers in that kind of situations. Not all people are good people. I'm shocked that kidnyou're shocked that people wouldn't let strangers hold their babies, honestly. You should be more careful so that you never experience something as horrible as kidnapping! Just saying. (I'm pretty sure that woman who asked Fleur was nice and all that, but still, why risk it?)
Samanta Rizzi you clearly didn’t fully read my comment. If the lady was sitting at a table next to them at lunch then she’s hardly going to get very far in planning an elaborate kidnap plot. Also, Id say that’s quite a bold statement for you to make....if i let a stranger hold my child while sitting right next to me, they’re automatically going to kidnap her? Nah, my children are mature enough now to know not to leave my side. I’ll go back to doing me and you keep doing you 👍
Oh and also...I am a bridal makeup artist by trade and I once done a wedding where the maid of honour had a 4 month old baby. He was being fussy before the ceremony so guess who looked after him for a full 30 minutes unattended..me, shock horror! Also at my own wedding, my 1 year old was being fussy so one of the hair dressing assistants took her away a walk in her pram. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Scottish, but this isn’t all that uncommon to us!
Absolutely! I'm actually very anxious about the whole kidnapping thing- it's one of those things that gets stuck in my head when trying to get to sleep, but even I (in the right situation) would allow someone to hold my baby! Children will grow up living in fear of everyone otherwise which isn't healthy x
have to be honest , i went to cornwall when my little guy was 5 months and we went to looe bay , it was BEAUTIFUL, loads of little harbour towns , cute shops plenty of places to eat and you could even take the dogs if you got a cottage or something. this year as the small bloke is now 2 we are going to butlins in minehead.. im so excited because he is going to LOVE it. :)
Hey Fleur! I am adopting a rescue dog soon and want to figure out how to introduce him to my cat. It got me thinking, maybe you could do a video about how the dogs are getting on, how you introduced them to the cats back whenever you did that, and also, how the dogs are getting on with River and how things have changed with her, etc. I bet others would love it to! Thanks X
How do you guys looks so young and gorgeous after a baby?!? You guys are looking so happy! Baby River is a good traveler because she travel with you before... Inside the belly! ❤️❤️❤️
Such a cute family! Also, I met you and Mike in a Sephora in Chicago in 2015 and it was the best surprise run-in ever. I'm glad the little one is easy to travel with. :)
I have two little boys under 3 and we are going to go on our first little family holiday in a few months time. I have already planned the packing 😂 there’s so much to take. Congratulations on Little River. Motherhood suits you Fleur x
Hi Fleur. Love to see vlogs from you! Could I possibly get more dog clips? I miss having a pup so much and love seeing your cute ones! Also, think you've started to find a really good balance with having River in the videos, and thank you so much for letting us be part of your life!
All those vacation spots look great. I might suggest that you add travel insurance now that you have a little one. It saved us a couple of times when we had to cancel vacation because the kids were ill. Aside from that ....Piglet is too adorable for words!
I traveled, went out to eat, went out shopping, etc, when I had my babies. Think when u start when they are young they get used to it. As they grow u just go over what is expected of them and they usually do well. Glad I got glance of River😄
If you go to Cornwall you have to visit Charlestown (where Poldark was filmed) its the cutest little place and so so peaceful if you can go outside of school holidays, otherwise its rammed! Also St Michaels Mount is stunning, depending on the tide you either get a boat over or you can walk along the causeway if the tide is out. There are so many lovely little places to visit in Cornwall, i love finding all the little bays hidden away off the beaten track :)
I've loved seeing your vlog. You seem to have an incredible life. The little noises River was making at the end were the cutest sounds 😍 You appear to have motherhood nailed. Good on you x
August is our rainy season... So go Cornwall in July, before the schools break up, and go to a Greek island early May before its too hot for the baby xx
I would definitely be weird about having a stranger holding my baby too, but that being said I've been the stranger before. 😀 There was a lady in the bathroom with a baby and she didn't have anything to put the baby in so I offered to hold her while she used the restroom. She was very thankful 😀 so I guess in certain situations I would consider it for my own baby.
I'd agree with this, I think if you're with your spouse or another familiar person then the offer isn't necessary, but it's always worth just politely saying no because who knows if in another situation it might be a big help :)
You should keep in mind that not all strangers are nice or kind! Some might be acting and they might even steal your baby! I just don't trust anyone in that department. Don't have babies yet, but if I was gonna have one I won't let anybody hold her/him because I know people can be horrible. Not all of them, but why risk it?
Yeah I think if the person is obviously offering as a way to help you when you're struggling with something, it's nice and appreciated. But if it's just a woman asking "can I hold your baby?"...that's odd.. either way... it would be a "no" from me. You never know.
I don't have kids, and to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of babies, but I've offered to hold them for once of twice when I see someone having a difficult time juggling in restaurants/bathrooms. Apparently I'm not half bad with them either - no dropping, all laughs! To each their own though, especially when it comes to parenting methods :)
The boyfriend tag from 2011 just popped in my feed and I re-watched...You were talking about TopGear and how he was obsessed..I guess some things never change 😉
We all went as a family on safari to the Masai Mara and also to Kruger in South Africa with a 5 month old baby for a month and it was great! Surprisingly very easy with a tiny baby and we all had a great time. I would love to go to Cornwall for a lovely weekend too! xx
The tresanton is really nice me and my family have been there several times to eat and the food is good but we haven't stayed there so couldnt say what the rooms are like x
This was perfect. A friend and I are going to Chicago in June! I'm so excited. The day we planned it I watched your old vlogs from when you were there before. Found them super helpful! If any of you guys live there or have been, I would love suggestions! :)
Hotel Lincoln is so nice & cute! It's a bit further from downtown, where the Marathon will be, but the neighborhood is so cute! You'll love the rooftop. Dana Hotel & Spa is nice too! Book ahead, the marathon is a BIG DEAL!
Do you recommend traveling with a 2 month old baby? I have been hearing a lot of different opinions. Were going to California and wanted to know if I should bring the baby?
I love Piglet and watching her fall asleep on you. River is growing fast and that's why I always try to buy clothes as gifts that will fit further in the future as they grow. Nor-Easter hitting us here in N.Y.C. Spring were are you?
Cornwall my homeland!!! Padstow Townhouse is stunning and I'm a bit biased towards Padstow. St Mawes is stunning so to the Roseland Peninsula. Double check the beaches as a lot of them don't allow dogs in the high season. The weather is generally better May or September usually quite rainy July and August. Happy to suggest if you need any assistance. Awesome to have you all back
Happy you enjoyed your trip.. Important to relax and take your time when travelling with small kids. 😊 I travelled quite a lot with my son. He is now 1,5 year and been on about 10 small vacations. 🙂 our next trip is to Crete. And this time we will bring my friend and her 1,5 year old daughter.. And so looking forward to travel there again, but this time with friends. 😊 and this time they can walk 😋 and eat food with us 🙂
The Tresanton hotel is amazing and St. Mawes is beautiful - my 94 year old Nan used to live at the top of the hill in the village and walk down to the bakery, harbour and fish and chip shop every week. Such happy memories there!
Come to Cornwall it’s awesome for a family break so many beautiful places to visit st Mawes is beautiful you will have to do a ferry ride 😍 makes sure u avoid summer holidays as it gets crazy busy! Xxx
Fleur I love your videos and have been following you for ages... Could you please make a video on healthy eating after baby/ loosing baby weight? Thanks very much
We take our dog on holiday all the time, it's really easy and you can find some fab places to stay in the UK. We use Sykes Cottages as they have heaps of dog friendly places. Happy holidays! 🐶👶🏼
Love your videos with Mike! You are such a great couple! I think it‘s awesome that you want to go to Cornwall- seems such a cool and beautiful place to go. Your video makes me want to plan my next holiday as well ❤️
Loving the travel ideas, south of France has some amazing caravan family parks - truly brilliant Plus it’s warm for you to enjoy the sun but I wouldn’t imagine it would be too hot for River, depending on what month you went
I have a friend who did Macchu Pichu with his wife and their first son when the baby was 6 months. He had his son in one of those body slings at his front while they were hiking and a small pack on his back. His wife had a bigger hiking pack. They said it was surprisingly not that difficult and they have cool family pics from that time (this was 4 years ago).
Just throwing this out there.... lol I miss yours and mike’s cooking show or just y’alls cooking in general 😂 I still use your shepherds pie recipe all the time!
You may have already booked your trip to Cornwall, But I live there and best to avoid July/August as its the Summer holidays, and it just gets so busy and horrible, not to mention it usually rains then! May/June is perfect, pretty quiet but everything is open and the weather is way better!
I live in Cornwall, near Looe,so if you need any recommendations let me know,it's beautiful when it's sunny not so much in the rain, but I wouldn't live anywhere else xx
SO excited that y’all are coming to Chicago!! Can def give tips for things to eat, do, and where to stay! And I love that you guys are traveling with her! I think that’s super important and what I would like to do once we have children.
Hi you three :) the canary islands are perfect with little ones in june/july/august. About 27 degrees and nice and windy, not that hot - perfect weather!! ♡
From what I hear, raveling with a baby under 1 is a lot easier than traveling with a toddler. My 5 month old has been a dream to travel with on plane rides and road trips. The engine from planes provide the perfect white noise setting. And hard pass on letting a stranger hold my baby, especially during cold and flu season. There is something about being pregnant/having a baby that allow strangers to feel okay to invade your personal space 🤷🏻♀️
i would love to see a video of Mike talking about how life has been like for him as a father so far. His expectations before and how his life has changed. I think that would be so cool! :)
Raluca England yes I would love that
Yes please!!
Raluca England good
Raluca England yes!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Yes!!!!
You incorporate paid sponsorships into your videos better than anyone else I've seen in TH-cam - you make me not mind, you make it interesting and you are truly just the queen of vlogging!
That little Squidge and kitty interaction at the beginning was adorable. Love animal friendships. : )
I rarely see western people who live happily with their families like you, and even have a commitment to have a family. I'm really very happy to see you get along well and have children. We hope you two can gather with your grandchildren in the future! ^^

Hahaa it made me laugh to see little River bundled up in the push chair, the way her arms were just sticking up! 😂 she seems like such a cutie ☺️

So lovely having little glimpses of Miss River and the little noises she makes are so cute xx
for some reason watching your vlogs always make me feel so calmed and full of happiness 😊 Love you and Mike and River 😊
She’s got the cutest little cry so sweet 💕
I loved seeing the dog falling asleep on you while you were talking lol so cute

Love The Headland, such a nice hotel. Lots of old school charm and beautiful views.

Chicago is an amazing city to visit! My family LOVED the architectural boat cruise and Navy Pier, both are great things to experience. Have fun!
I’m so in love with your dogs. Piglet looks like such a sweetie ❤️

You seem like a brilliant mother, Fleur! Hearing River coo was absolutely precious! Enjoy her!!! X
I love how Mike and you will do laundry together ❤️ #CoupleGoals

When Mike said "What do you mean River would love to cuddle him" Mike is such a Joker haha
Lovely. Nice to see baby and the dogs again.
Would love to see mike do some cooking videos showing how and what he uses the meal he done in this video looked so nice
Oh, I miss the cooking videos they did with Sansbury! I would leave to see Mike reprise his cooking vids.
Help support my vlog thank you
How do you guys looks so young and gorgeous after a baby?!? You guys are looking so happy!
Baby River is a good traveler because she travel with you before... Inside the belly! ❤️❤️❤️
Makes me so happy when you upload a video vlog!
Fiammetta yes! 😁
Loved this!! We are itching to do some travels soon with our baby!

Fleur can you do a favorite jewlery/accessories for the month. Ive spotted your rings and am LOVING them right now!
Aww, River's cooing is so cute 😍 and Piglet's snuggles 🤗 I would love to see more holiday planning and how you do your research.

Your face at Mike’s TV choices 😂 River is soooo adorable

I've loved seeing your vlog. You seem to have an incredible life. The little noises River was making at the end were the cutest sounds 😍 You appear to have motherhood nailed. Good on you x
Portugal is a great sun destination with babba’s. Short enough flight, doesn’t get too hot either. My two loved it there! 🌞
August is our rainy season... So go Cornwall in July, before the schools break up, and go to a Greek island early May before its too hot for the baby xx
You and mike sorting washing together was so cute 😍😂
Hey fleur! Could you please do a video on dogs& babys? Did you prepare your dogs in any way or has anything changed for them?

Ohhhh piggy is so cute. Just snuggling ❤️❤️
You two are the cutest!
Miss you all so much. Been waiting so long. 😭😭❤️
When I hear the word '2 washing baskets'..."Dang it!" // running to do the laundry before my underwear runs out... Thank you for the reminder!
Mei Kit awww. That’s cute 😜
Baby’s first bungee jump!!

Piglet at 10.16 😍 my heart exploded.
I’ve been watching Escape to the Country on Netflix, and now REALLY want to visit York. The English countryside looks so beautiful.
Do you recommend traveling with a 2 month old baby? I have been hearing a lot of different opinions. Were going to California and wanted to know if I should bring the baby?

What a beautiful family you have fleur. River is a little pumpkin 😘
Wow okay actually so excited about The Telegraph website! Thanks!!
Dont even consider doing Geece in the summer months it goes up to 40 degrees. But may and september and october is amazing
We take our dog on holiday all the time, it's really easy and you can find some fab places to stay in the UK. We use Sykes Cottages as they have heaps of dog friendly places. Happy holidays! 🐶👶🏼
The greek islands are not too bad for heat in either May or September, average temps are from about 25-30.
They're hottest during July and August
Hooray! Chicago is the best! You will all enjoy my lovely city!
Love your videos with Mike! You are such a great couple! I think it‘s awesome that you want to go to Cornwall- seems such a cool and beautiful place to go. Your video makes me want to plan my next holiday as well ❤️
Loving the travel ideas, south of France has some amazing caravan family parks - truly brilliant
Plus it’s warm for you to enjoy the sun but I wouldn’t imagine it would be too hot for River, depending on what month you went
used the telegraph website when planning my most recent Europe trip for this May! I'm from Chicago and hope to see you while you're here!
Also Cornwall in May or June! August it rains always and full of school kids
Hey, where is that activity mat from? 3:53
I have a friend who did Macchu Pichu with his wife and their first son when the baby was 6 months. He had his son in one of those body slings at his front while they were hiking and a small pack on his back. His wife had a bigger hiking pack. Great vlog, Fleur! & Piglet's hilarious, when you had your suitcase open on the floor, it was taller than she was! Haha! Made me chuckle😂
You may have already booked your trip to Cornwall, But I live there and best to avoid July/August as its the Summer holidays, and it just gets so busy and horrible, not to mention it usually rains then! May/June is perfect, pretty quiet but everything is open and the weather is way better!
On the stranger holding your baby, one day a strange young man will show up on your door step wanting to take your baby out on a date!!!
Or a young woman. Who knows!
I'd be 10 times less worried if it were a young woman, tbh.
So happy to see a vlog! I find myself watching your old vlogs especially with piglet in it! Please upload more often!
I live in Cornwall, near Looe,so if you need any recommendations let me know,it's beautiful when it's sunny not so much in the rain, but I wouldn't live anywhere else xx
I'd highly recommend the Scilly isles, it's off the coast of Cornwall and absolutely lovely. Very private too
SO excited that y’all are coming to Chicago!!

Beaver and Squidge, what gorgeous girls
I’ve stayed at the hotel lincoln in chicago and it was really cool and nice. Really close to the park and the water, and there is a cool rooftop bar
Fun! The Chicago marathon is super easy and soooo much fun! The Peninsula in Chicago is a great place to stay.
