Hey man, thank you for the quick tutorial! I looked through alot but none of them were detailed or dumbed down a bit for true beginners. picked up a deck with my friend so we can play seeing how there is way too much going on in magic with all the key words and bullshit.
Are you on adderal? Just curious. I was trying to follow you but my brain was overheated an 1 min 32 sec...Im a recovering addicted 6 months clean brain still fried. Is there like manual or something that i can read and has pictures identifying all the different things?
What advice would you give to a player like myself who isn't very quick on the uptake on how to master this game? I'm struggling hard in this game and no matter what deck I play I always lose, but when my friends play the deck they always seem to do what I can never do and I end up losing. I'm honestly frustrated that I don't know what to do when it comes to playing this game and I don't get the whole point as far as how to approach the game.
It seems like you’re already browsing youtube channels trying to pick up information, but if you want a really competitive insight into the game that may help you play better, you may want to check out my articles at patreon.com/crossworldtcg
Can you please make a video with the new Z Legends rules? I am new to the game and I cannot find a video anywhere explaining how to follow the new rules.
Nice tutorial man. Would love to see an updated one about the Unison cards. Also, I see that black doesn't have a lot of specified costs on their cards. Is there a reason for that? Or is it just the black cards I have that are newer that dont.
So i can't use colors of cards tbat are not in my leaders color identity? Such as a blue Leader using a yellow battle card? Further, can I use a blue leader using yellow energy?
I play a lot of cards games like Mtg,Yugiomom, pokeobum amd keyforge but trying out new games so Dragon Ball super is new too me just started what decks and sets do i start buying i got $100.00 saved for new cards games.
Lol yep no matter how many times i watch or listen to ppl explain it my mind just goes into a black hole. I really do wish i could wrap my head around it but i just cant so i will just collect
The game shares a lot of things from other card games Leader-similar to commander for mtg, and deck master in yugioh from the show when they were in the computer world. Life- similar to pokemon with prizes, ko'ing an opponents pokemon makes them take a prize. Whe. The prize count hits 0 you win the game. Extra cards-think of spells for yugioh, counter:play could be thought of as the solemn brigade of yugioh. Field card- same as field spell. Some differences- 4 copies of a card can be in your deck, yugioh only has 3 copies max (banlist is the exception) Both players have the same deck count, right now it's 50, but by the next set this summer (called set 10) it is being bumped up to 60 and we are getting planeswalkers like mtg. There was a picture bandai revealed of cooler with 3 boxes (similar to mtg planeswalkers with 3 boxes for effects). These cards will probably not be allowed to attack and they get to function as an additional leader, they start out in the deck though and not placed near the leader. Hope that breakdown helped.

It’s great to see the mana or energy system from Duel Masters... honestly the best mechanic out there

This is my favorite video Joey, it is one of the best I've seen to learn to play the game.
I'm glad it helped!

This is one of those things I’m gonna have to learn by doing…it makes absolutely no sense otherwise lol
This was sick Joey! Very informative, might actually try playing this now lol
I hope you do dude!! We're always at wizards lol
Thank you, you made this so understandable

Love your Dragon ball playmat where you get it?
I’m coming from yugioh and the gohan is looking kinda crazy I mean just busted
Exactly what I needed, I appreciate y’all
glad to help!
Good vid just quick question. Do i have to turn energy when i’m using it and then put it in the drop area when i’m done??
You turn your energy to tap it, but you dont put it in the drop area, it stays in you energy area
So i can't use colors of cards tbat are not in my leaders color identity? Such as a blue Leader using a yellow battle card? Further, can I use a blue leader using yellow energy?
You can use any color combination of cards you want!
I play a lot of cards games like Mtg,Yugiomom, pokeobum amd keyforge but trying out new games so Dragon Ball super is new too me just started what decks and sets do i start buying i got $100.00 saved for new cards games.

Where can i buy and whats the name?
Cheers for this man. Also where did you get this mat

Hey joey, quick question... when can you use aegis? Like what are the steps of using it and can you still negate after using aegis?
aegis takes place during the controllers defensive combos, so if the attack gets negated you cannot aegis
I still don’t know how to play I’ll just collect and trade lol 😭 and well I’ll keep practicing
Lol yep no matter how many times i watch or listen to ppl explain it my mind just goes into a black hole.
I really do wish i could wrap my head around it but i just cant so i will just collect
Yeah this is still so confusing 😕
Thanks for sharing
my pleasure, hopefully it helps!
Well done
thanks!
50 cards- no more no less? Deck size is 50-60 tho- no?
I know how to do combo and battle but I just don't understand how energy works...
If you have any specific questions our channel discord would be a great place to ask! Lots of helpful people in there!
Where did you get the broly play mat from?
I got it on amazon!
This is confusing as fuck.
Is different of the DBZ kakarot card game?
Completely different and better game
The dragon bunny sleeves aren’t being made anymore 😢😢
I think you can find them on Amazon!
This game is so damn complicated....
Its like a slower version of yugioh
Ehh, i played yugioh up until about 2 years ago and i dont think they’re that similar
The game shares a lot of things from other card games
Leader-similar to commander for mtg, and deck master in yugioh from the show when they were in the computer world.

So, is this dead already? Am in the only one still buying cards?
Rad.
I hope that WOTC sued the asses at Bandai because 75% of the design is copy-paste shamelessly from Magic/Duelmasters and even Cardfight Vanguard.
And I thought card games were supposed to be fun. This sounds complicated
There funny when you get the hang of it
