Address: Versova Koliwada, Versova
Dates: 17,18 & 19 Jan 2020
Timing : 6 pm to 12 pm

Description:
This annual festival organised by the Koli community had variety of fresh seafood dishes on offer prepared by Koli women. They made around one ton of fresh fish dishes daily for all the 3 days of the event.
Variety of seafood like Bombil King Prawns, Pomfret, Lobsters, Bombay Duck, Tuna, Surmai, Golden Anchovies also known as Mandeli, Basa, Shellfish, Mackerel, Ghol and others were caught fresh hours before making them. Using spicy masalas the fish was cooked and served by authentically dressed Koli women.

Sorry to say that we get all these fish fresh in Montreal Canada at a much cheaper price. Including Bombay Duck(Bombil) and pomfret. Even if I take the currency exchange rate. It is much cheaper.
