I place the signatures just slightly less than 1/4" apart (3/16th?) and limit the number of leaves in each signature to six or seven, depending on the thickness of each leaf, or how much embellishment I might put on the individual pages.
Beautiful! I just found a children’s book at Goodwill of her stories. There were literally hundreds of framed illustrations. I cut them all out for ephemera. They would look darling in a journal just like this…
