The woman Geeling Ching was a table waitress and fan of Bowie prior and was chosen to play the asian stereotype in the video, the beach scene at 3:30 onwards was cut short but damn that is a dream come true for any Bowie fan.

David Bowie had a SIMPLE EXPLANATION as to why he'd made fun by playing with his eyes: He didn't understand why people were upset over it. His video girlfriend made fun of his Caucasian-ness by gesturing that he has a big nose, so he made fun of her Asian-ness, so to speak. David embraced, respected and loved different cultures like no other. Also, his appreciation for everyone's uniqueness and individuality was unparalleled. He was a truly extraordinary and inspirational human. After he died, I was curious as to why the media was covering his death for weeks and weeks. I wound up reading about, watching and listening to David for 3 years straight; everything and anything about him - thankfully, so much material. And as I did so, I cried a lot.

Love Bowie's suit. He went for a classic two-button closing instead of the horrible Wolf of Wallstreet one low button closing they had on suits at the time. So this suit was out of style then but he clearly knew the one-button would end up being hated and mocked. I know most won't care about this but for me, it shows his style and foresight.

I like this version. The end was like "woah, now I get why it was censored!!". I mean, compared to many images shown on nowdays videos, it sounds ridiculous to think this was censored. But thinking about the time this was showned on tv, it makes total sense. I like that part, it was very erotic. Still sorta shocking tbh.

I love David Bowie and the points made in this video. My favorite part is the gorgeous girl at the end taking the position that no one can truly own her/her people translated by applying then smearing her own make-up.
