    I know this was uploaded a while ago, but thank you for putting out the good words for Benro. I ended up with a Mach 3 as well, but mine is a 3 section (37AL?) .. heavier and higher, but I'm not using it for any travel. I like mine well enough that I did get a travel one from them as well. (System go or something like that). I'm glad you pointed out the short-comings, I'll keep an eye open for that. I enjoyed your deliver, covers the details without bs. Well done, and worth a subscribe.

    Richard, thanks a lot for good review on Benro tripod. I'm also going to buy TMA27 and you gave me one more reason to purchase it. Thanks for your well done work. )

    If you tighten the center column with the blue butterfly, it will not turn? Sometimes tripods have a problem with this, very annoying.

    Great review, what is the conversion to a monopod like and is it a good monopod?

    • @RichardFrenchPhotography
      @RichardFrenchPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Terry, thank you for your comment. I've only used it as a monopod a few times but times I have used it like that I've had no problems with it.

    How do you take it off and attach the smaller one on. The instructions manual only show pictures without text

    • @RichardFrenchPhotography
      @RichardFrenchPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're referring to the centre column you must unscrew the base of the larger column weather hook is loosen the top and slide the pole out and then insert the small one.

    Great video! Does this Benro tripod turn into a mono-pod?? Do you have a demonstration of this?? Thanks

    • @RichardFrenchPhotography
      @RichardFrenchPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the tripod does turn into a monopod one of the legs are removable. I haven't personally used it as a monopod myself but I do know it does go to a decent height and I also believe that you can use the centre column as an extender

    Can you unlock these twist locks all at once, and can you tighten the lock when upper section is unlocked?

    Hi Richard
    Following on from the question regarding using a single leg as a monopd - can you tell me the screw size on the feet?
    I was looking at attaching a small set of feet to help with stability of the monopod

    Thanks for your thurough review! This is the exact one I'm looking at purchasing. Benro is having issues with wrong measurements on their site. I spoke with someone who gave me correct measurements on the Travel Angel but since then I've changed my mind and want to get the Mach3 28A like you have. At least I think I do if I can verify the measurements of it. Can you post the lenghts folded, set up normal and set up extended? It might even be accurate on the box but the Benro rep said the current site sometimes grabs the wrong info and now I don't trust it at all.

    Just bought a 27A and going to marry it up with a Markins M (Q) 20 that i picked up on e bay so for under £200 in total should be OK for the price ;-)

    Thank You for the review of this tripod. I'm going to buy model TMa 27A, I guess it's the same. Stability without any changes ? Does it still work properly ?

    • @RichardFrenchPhotography
      @RichardFrenchPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment.
      The Tma 27A is very similar in a few ways but also does have some differences, best check out the spec over on benro's website so ypu know what they are.
      I can say i love my TMA28A and still holding strong and very stable indeed.
