Joe Paterno is a real College Legend! He made mistakes lik e verybody does but he changed the world and changed the way football was God bless joe Parterno!
@gobamago9 I hope it is a good game, I'm worried about Penn State this year. Usually I'm optimistic, even going into 2009 with a lot of question marks I felt good about the team and they did good. This year, I'm not so sure. I'm afraid this game could look like the 2000 Kickoff Classic. But I do agree, great to see PSU vs BAMA once agian, I loved the old rivalries (was also happy to see PSU vs Cuse again even though PSU drubbed Cuse both times so bad it was over by halftime).
@nastynaas Speak for yourself. Stand proud. You are part of the long, blue line, and don't you EVER forget it. Bow to no one. Make no excuses or explanations. We are Penn State! Fight On, State. For the Glory. Attitude is everything!
@nojoepa That doesn't even compare to the 17-18 years they spent OUTSIDE of Happy Valley. Wonderful job. I cannot even believe I have to even explain this simple of a concept. I'm done. If I have to point out every little thing you did or said wrong, then I'll never be able to leave the computer, and I actually have a life.
@nojoepa I chose to go to penn state for a reason. Obviously it wasn't football. I could've gone to 7 other colleges, but I chose to go out of state, even though my instate college was known to be about the same level as Penn State (academically). I worked really hard in high school, and I'm working hard in college. I don't appreciate you insulting the school I chose to become part of, and the school that I've come to respect, despite the fact that it was my safety school. As I've said before,
@nojoepa Also, I don't think you realize that most Penn Staters have high school friends, including me. None of my high school friends go to Penn State. All my best/close friends go to other schools, most of them more well known than mine. I wouldn't go around accusing my friends' schools, nor would I even think to disrespect their schools. I'm pretty sure that's the mindset for most Penn Staters anyway. At least for the students.
@nojoepa 7. "You need to see the wider world outside your creepy valley". How do you even know if he/she lives in what you call "creepy valley"? First, it's Happy Valley. Second, say this person is a freshman. He/She has probably lived in Happy Valley for 3 months, and lived 17-18 years in a different location. For example, I hail from Washington DC. However, I go to Penn State. Usually, college students stay in the college community for 4-5 years.
@nojoepa Also, now that i search "Diddler", I now assume that you're using the urban dictionary definition because in the oxford dictionary, nowhere does it indicate that it usually pertains specifically to children. I understand why this word was made up...but i'm not impressed. I feel like most Penn Staters would not be able to make that connection because football just isn't the world to all of us. Diddler U is supposed to be a insult to us? That's funny. The word sounds like gibberish to me.
@nojoepa Lmao if youo aren't trolling then how did you origionally comment on te video? You clearly had to seek out the video and then comment on it.....
@nojoepa I didn't realize that we Penn Staters unleashed our scorn, hate, ect against other schools. You're actually the I've heard this from. I've heard that one or two other schools admitted having similar crimes at their schools, but I didn't realize we actually all went around and accused other schools of covering scandals. So, sorry, I can't begin at home and convince my fellow students, because there is no one i need to convince. I don't know anyone who said anything like that.
@nojoepa ...and again, I've never heard of us Penn staters criticizing other universities for other violations. And honestly, what am I supposed to criticize Penn State about? Besides Sandusky, Joe Pa, Spanier, and other involved in this incident, I can't think if anything else. I can say that Penn State is a party school, but all other schools have parties too, if anything just as wild or more as Penn State. And I'm sorry if I come off as "whining", I understand how I am but I don't care.
@nojoepa Oh I'm sorry. Like I said, I don't really follow football...even if it's Penn State so I would definitely not understand what a "Diddler-U" is. Though I should make a point to finally understand football or how the whole game works, I don't feel the need to do so just to comprehend a "Diddler-U"or connect that to a "Linebacker-U". Interesting how you know more about Penn State football than me. Which proves my point again. Penn State isn't all about football. I'm more into academics.
@jwill22d Thanks. I realize now that I have better things to worry about. This is my last one. @nojoepa As expected, you would misinterpret what I said. I'll let you figure it out--I just stopped myself from writing a long, explanatory paragraph to a deranged person. I couldn't find the comments. Also, I happen to have a lot of friends at U Mich. They haven't complained against me at all; they only expressed how sorry they were about our situation. Nor are they aware of PSU accusations. Bye.
@nojoepa To be honest, I'm on this video because while I was looking at your channel after encountering your unreasonable comments about penn state, I saw that you commented on this video, and proceeded to investigate the other lies you spread. I wasn't too fond of the president's ideals either, so, honestly and unfortunately, I didn't really care that our president was sacked. This doesn't bode well for the people who tried to covered this up, not that it doesn't bode well for PSU students.
@nojoepa Again, I am purely commenting because I saw YOU commenting on this--I was looking at your channel because I wanted to see what other mess you created. I think you forget how many Penn Staters there are, let alone how many Penn State Fans. A little over 1000 people were at the riots. 10,000 penn staters were at the candlelight vigil. There are over 40,000 Penn Staters at State College. That probably means that over half of the Penn Staters don't care enough for this issue to dish out.
@nojoepa Why are you after PSU anyway, your talkin shit like its us students( I am currently in PSU) what happened was a tragedy, something that is evil but it was not JoePa's fault and dont make fun of the students when most of us were not in PSU at the time
@nojoepa I'm not going to deny I was angry and bitter :).Unlike you, I don't lie and make outrageous statements. The ones who curse, I don't really support. It's not that I support them, it's just that their argument isn't really an argument anymore. I stand by what I say. What you're supposed to do is to play it cool, but you didn't, which is funny to see. I would cover for you if you were right, but I completely disagree with you and your invalid points.
@nojoepa I've had no time, and I still don't have time because I have an exam today. However, I feel wrong leaving this alone when I did say I would respond. Clearly, YOU have time since i see that you're wasting your life away making false accusations that have no supporting proof or evidence. One of your comments is removed, so I have no idea what that says. However, not I don't lie. I seriously think that you wouldn't be able to survive at Penn State.
@nojoepa I don't care if you bash against Joe Paterno. I'm neutral on that topic. I certainly don't care if you insult Sandusky, he deserves the worst punishment possible. But I don't appreciate you calling Penn State Ped State. I don't appreciate you bashing on our football team because they clearly didn't do anything to deserve your hate...unless you were a PSU hater to begin with. I especially don't appreciate you assuming that Penn State students are all dim-witted die-hard football fans.
@PrincessZelda613 Losing Royster? What? Fight On, State. We went to Tuscaloosa and dominated in 1982. Alabma aren't Gods, for Christsake. Pick up your pride and stop with all this hand-wringing BS. Stand TALL. We are Penn State! Fight On, State. For the Glory. Get with the program, buster. Show our young men in blue and white some unwavering support. That's what gets it done!
@nojoepa I actually said get a life bud to you, so I'm angry you said it to me. Other then that by saying "ped staters" you just contradicted yourself in saying no one is calling us pedophiles. Yeah the rioting was stupid and I'm embarrassed it happened at my school. That being said the 50-100 people that were actually causing damage out there, Jerry Sandusky, and whoever tried covering it up don't represent the entire Penn State community.
really though people. why do you all have to go and act like freakin children. 1. why associate the entire university with something one messed up person did. 2. i guarentee most of you hypocrits would have done less than what they did. it was a situation that most of them couldnt believe happening and the details were foggy. so take your hating somewhere else and just enjoy what this video is about. the legacy joe paterno leaves behind, being the tradition of penn state football. thank you
There's something I just dig about PSU's uniforms, yes it may be plain, but it looks classy like that, and I just love it
cant stop watching these..
"People will tell their kids about us" lol
