I reached diamond while playing on 17 - 30 fps and 100+ ping three years ago (also with the trackpad from my laptop instead of a mouse). Now I have a good pc (still bad connection) and this season I peaked masters for the first time. Your setup is important, but if you are a good player you can achieve stuff.

After i got a pc with proper fps i started to actually have a learning process i went from bronze 5 master yi main to adc and actually started getting better and climbing

I can actually shed some light on the clip at 4:14 with the Nasus TP. I actually main Nasus and when you play on locked screen and use your mini map to teleport (highlight a minion or tower on the minimap with your cursor) then you can accidentally teleport to the nexus tower. I think what happened was nasus put his cursor on the minimap teleport back top lane, but due to his position the minimap was located in front of the nexus tower, and therefore the game ignored the minimap and prioritised the nexus tower. I'm a D3 player and I do the mistake sometimes, although I'm not sure what causes it.
Riot tried to do smth with that sometimes ago. There is checkbox somewhere that disables clicks on minimap. However, there is one more annoying thing. You can disable camera move on respawn, but not on recall and it might cause shit with global skillshots like ezreal's R
back when bronze 5 was the lowest elo in season 3 me and my friend tried to troll our way from high gold to bronze 5. once hittin like bronze 2 or 3 it was unironically hard to lose. we came up with a troll strategy. one picks nunu and swaps smite in the last second and steals everything from the jungler. this way a lane is empty and your jungler is fucked. the second dude just feeds someone kills in the meantime. this way you took 3 people out of the game. and yet we had games that we just couldnt lose. i really lost hope in humanity in these nights.
I know that bronze players are rlly bad but it should still not be hard to lose to them, just do nothing and like 99% of bronze players shouldnt be able to 3v5 other bronze players.

Legit Riot just added Iron because of disabled persons, legit no insult but its just like that. A friend got around 150 games to get into Iron 1... from Bronze 3 on a fresh account. Legit your MMR doesnt go down anymore... he still plays with S4 (hardstuck shit mmr)-Iron 1 only tho. I think there aren't even enough people in low iron because its so shit.

Got my friend to help me chose pieces for a custom PC, 2500 $ build, bought a cable to play with eternet and server change place now I am playing on 35 ping. The game became so much easier afterwards rn I am D3 almost D2.

yea rat is like the best streamer to me because i was d2 and my account got banned and now i have 30 or so banned NA accounts. I met a lot of players d5+ who were similar to me in the good at the game and lots of banned accounts. Everyone loves rat and L9. I remember my level 15 games would be tougher than plat games because everyone who was actually good got insta banned when they hit diamond, so everyone was on perma tilt and kept getting banned for running it down and toxicity to those who just bought accounts, were boosted, or any rioters. Those were the golden days of league and that was what destroyed the game on NA. Everyone who was new got destroyed so badly that they quit because the game was nowhere near fun at that point going 0-15 every game.. Because 80% of pre 30 was the top 3% of players.
Tbf lower level games are one of the toughest shits you'll see. I actually got matched against an EUW GM not too long ago. He ended up playing against a beginner that he smashed with critraka top. Added him later to clarify. Low level EUW also gets a shitton of bans pre lv30 cause silver "smurfs" get their massive egos destroyed during games.

Decided to hop back on and try season 10, played a couple games and my mechanics were pretty bad but it's the same as riding a bike. The 2nd game I had the jungler tower dive the top laner with no minions, he died and then left. I lost all 4 because it was basically a 1v5 every game and wasn't possible even when I had a lead. So I just gave up and decided not to play league rank for fun anymore. Way more toxic people now than before. Was a lot more fun before but at least TFT is a lot better than summoners rift
A lot of them are just people who genuinely don’t know the game yet, some of them have appeared multiple times on the stream. We all started somewhere and these people just haven’t even begun to climb
They don’t have quick cast on, even with indicators. They have 300 ping They barely know the mechanics/items They don’t have keyboard coordination, so they press W instead of Q etc

People saying ping and pc are the problems for these players. Im playing on a 12yr old pc that crashes if the game goes on for 30minutes. Everything on minimum and i still get 30fps. Sometimes my screen has a seizure and mouse doesnt move for 2 secs. Still got plat 3

it's not that hard to understand if you sit down and think about how to play the game and what is necessary to win. it's pretty easy to get stuck in plat or whatever if you just mindlessly queue up for another game and then just rely on mechanics to win. think outside the box and you'll be unstuck soon friend :)

This game is all about volume though. If you’re playing 2-3 games a day, you can definitely experience nothing but loss streaks for a while and it is still within the expected variance. This is why ranked feels so shit to play right now - you can tell yourself your winrate will lead to climbing, but that doesn’t change the fact that the individual games are just such shit quality. I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes if a game is lost or won. These days there are a very low number of close games, Atleast until after gold. That makes low elo unfun to play
I think that there is no point in coaching this people, i think most of their faults are mechanical rather than macro game, there is no point in teaching macro to someone who cannot even use his champ, i personally think that coaching is for people who focus way too much on mechanics and forget about the rest of the game, even so i wouldnt pay for a coach smh you can learn free on yt, also i think iron is for people who get lvl 30 only playing normals and then they get on ranks and get totally rolled by hardstuck tryhards and end up in iron, thats what happend to my cousin who started playing just this year

everyone says salty teemo is iron, but the majority of the games are actually high silver, it is actually usually people higher elo than the ones who flame them, and the reason people get hardstuck is because of the ego.

Bunch of these must be really young kids, some must be legitimately low IQ people(think 80-60 IQ, borderline mentally disabled to mentally disabled). Playing the game without understanding what things do or the ability to process what happens and adjust accordingly will result in that.

People saying ping and pc are the problems for these players. Im playing on a 12yr old pc that crashes if the game goes on for 30minutes. Everything on minimum and i still get 30fps. Sometimes my screen has a seizure and mouse doesnt move for 2 secs. Still got plat 3

it's not that hard to understand if you sit down and think about how to play the game and what is necessary to win. it's pretty easy to get stuck in plat or whatever if you just mindlessly queue up for another game and then just rely on mechanics to win. think outside the box and you'll be unstuck soon friend :)

This game is all about volume though. If you’re playing 2-3 games a day, you can definitely experience nothing but loss streaks for a while and it is still within the expected variance. This is why ranked feels so shit to play right now - you can tell yourself your winrate will lead to climbing, but that doesn’t change the fact that the individual games are just such shit quality.
I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes if a game is lost or won. These days there are a very low number of close games, Atleast until after gold. That makes low elo unfun to play
I think that there is no point in coaching this people, i think most of their faults are mechanical rather than macro game, there is no point in teaching macro to someone who cannot even use his champ, i personally think that coaching is for people who focus way too much on mechanics and forget about the rest of the game, even so i wouldnt pay for a coach smh you can learn free on yt, also i think iron is for people who get lvl 30 only playing normals and then they get on ranks and get totally rolled by hardstuck tryhards and end up in iron, thats what happend to my cousin who started playing just this year

I have an Account and i wanted to be iron 4 but i just couldnt... oh was so hard to lose ever game bcs even if i run it down my Team managed it to win bcs the Enemy was even worse... its really hard to derank
