I wonder if Christian Moore knows how good he actually is. I wished he would come back for another year, but I totally understand. We wouldn't be where we are at without him.
It would be amazing if he came back, unfortunately it's time for him to go and get paid. It will help lay the ground work though for recruiting man that's like three years of multiple first round players.
And to think they were recruiting him as a PITCHER! Good call going the position player route. I don't think there's a better or more dangerous hitter in the tournament. The bad news is teams may pitch around him the rest of the way after that performance. Dude hits EVERYTHING hard even when you get him out.

So who are we going to have available out of the pen on Sunday? I know we still have Beam or Sechrist as our starter, but who will be available in relief? I assume Connell, Stamos, and possibly Combs if needed. Who else?
Good news is they have a day off to rest so I'd say everyone is available for an inning at least. No one really stretched out, so while no one pitched exceptionally great they all will be rested to go again. Combs may be the only guy they hold back after going 60 pitches, but in a pinch I'm sure he could give an inning.
Me too. TV was right though, that field is super hard and fast for a grass field - and they mowed it before the game so it was different than they'd practiced on the day before. That's a big factor. You could tell balls were getting on guys faster than expected even in the outfield. I bet they take extra infield next time out there to get a bit more used to it.
The announcers were surprisingly terrible last night too. No one knew what was going on because they were talking about something else not paying attention. Camera guys didn't have the shot, announcers were clueless and rambling, it happened multiple times too. They need to tighten it up big time. Not a good performance by the broadcast crew at all. And those guys aren't rookies. They should know better.
